Thanks Dinah and Cinny for the ebay responses, will have to have a tinker with it in the week.
Oh Flower, sorry about the Nan situation. I think you're right that she probably has got used to you being around but Birdie's right what she says about it being your life to live and your mistakes to make. I know what it's like to feel guilty about not spending enough time with older relatives, especially if they haven't got anyone else nearby, but you can't put your own life on hold and at the end of the day you have to do what's right for you. I also think some older people don't realise how difficult things are financially for young people today - yes I know we have it better than ever before but mortgages are still five or six times the average salary, which they never were in their day,and that's obviously what you're focusing on. I'm sure she'll come around once she's had time to think about it.
ETA - yes I keep wondering about the accident too TPA...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Thanks tete! I think that is the half of it, i do feel guilty for going and leaving her. But she does have four children, without meaning to sound harsh it is not my job to put my life on hold to look after her.
To be honest i dont even think she will be in a position whereby she needs to be looked after for at least another 10 years anyway!
Hopefully once we're settled in a new place she will realise why we made the decisions we have!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Evening everyone! Look at me being on so late.
Great news, finding lots of MS around my town. 4 within walking distance so far! Bad news is I have to wait until tomorrow at work to book them (if they're still there) as my laptop is rubbish!
Flower - Grandmas have such a way! I can't really add to what others have said, but it is your life and up to you what you do with it. You really have made the right choice moving in with your OHs family, maybe your Gran will see it that way after the move?
Spent tonight clearing out my wardrobe, to say it's so tiny it had a lot of stuff in it! Watching Big Brother now and I don't have a clue what's going on, but I think Halfwit is going to give me nightmares tonight. Payday tomorrow! Ready to start my new budget. It really is quite sad I'm excited about that..0 -

I hope soi have grown alot closer to her since i have been living nearby so it does mean alot to me to have her support.
I'm getting excited about sorting all the money out tomorrow (OHs payday) before we go away, so if your sad cinny then we are sad together :rotfl: want to make sure theres enough money in the right place for the direct debits coming out while we're away.
Thinking im going to have to find an internet cafe for both the paydays that we're away, but slightly worried about using internet banking on public computers.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Morning everyone!
Went for drinks last night as one of the ladies i work with is getting married in a week, drank a bit more than i wanted oops and then had walk half way home as the tubes still weren't running properly then!
Flower - hope your Nan comes round, sure she will see you are doing the right thing soon0 -
Morning everyone, I'm sooo tired after staying up til half one last night sorting through Paris photos (looking in the guidebook to try and find out what the various pretty buildings actually WERE) and deleting the duds, got 314 down to 246 (!)
The walk probably sobered you up a bit Wendz and prevented too bad a hangover.
Cinny I looked through my wardrobe this morning and have got out 9 items of clothing, three bags and a pait of shoes to go on ebay ... and freed up loads of space
How you feeling this morning Flower?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
