The ultimate incentive worked! Now onto phase two

I heard some clips of how he was going on at Katy Perry last week, he's so cringy! Much prefer Wogan, love his new TV advert!
I hate it when people do that! My sister is terrible with it, one year I asked her what she wanted, and a few days later she came home with the stuff she'd asked for! So that year, she just got some PJs for Christmas (oddly, she still wears them!)
ETA: Just been onto Dooyoo for the first time in ages - have they upped the Amazon payout to 20,000 points? More incentive to work towards the £50 cheque I suppose! Planning on writing a few this afternoon when work drys up.0 -
They have yeah and you're right it does make it more tempting just to hold on for the cheque. I'm using mine for book treats though as if I get cash it'll just be absorbed and I won't actually get anything with it.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Last year NIM did the exact same. I was planning to get him a watch, as he kept saying he wanted a good one. About 4 weeks before his birthday when we were in town he randomly went into a jewellers and treated himself - I was very annoyed! In the end he saved me money though as I had to resort to being romantic at a cost of about £4 instead!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Morning! I can't see your pictures Tete as Facebook is blocked at work (miserable gits in IT!) but I'll have a look tonight!
I hardly made a dent in my weekend's to do list, we were out a lot to escape the neighbours, one has put of ruddy great big hanging baskets, in the lease it says you're not allowed to leave anything outside, let alone deface the wall with brackets! Not happy. And she's got a *massive* TV... we're doing something wrong!
I'm totally barbequed out, we went to one on Saturday night (and drank too much!) and another one last night! I didn't drink yesterday but I wish I had been drinking, it may have made it more bearable! It was at OH's friends girlfriends, she owns a cafe and invited all of her staff to come, who are all between 17-19 and thick beyond all belief. OH and his friend were enjoying winding up the girls and teasing them but I was not so keen as stupidity really should not be encouraged IMO, at one point OH said to me, 'You're quiet, what's wrong'...errr, I have nothing to say and I'm not going to join in with the stupid girl baiting as it's OK coming from guys but just plain mean coming from me! One of the girls thought that Cuba was in Spain for goodness' sake! Oh, and they were all clones, wannabe posh girls with big hair!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Are you planning on staying put there now Birdie? It sounds like you're pretty miserable with the new neighbours.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Funny you say that, me and my sister were really bored yesterday so gave each other 'pony' hair. The only thing that worried me was my sister looked quite the part with her Mulberry bag tucked under one arm!
Sounds like hell yesterday though, I can't stand girls like that. I can understand you wanting to drink! It's horrible you feel the need to leave the house with your new neighbours, any idea what you're going to do? I remember you said if you were to move out you'll have to rent, but surely that's better than having your money and lives tied to a place you don't like?
Just been on Bookpeople and put loads of books on my 'bookshelf' for Birthdays / Christmas. Going to compair prices on Amazon (you never know!) as it's really rare I come across 1, let alone 2, books I could buy my Brother. Best get back to work..0 -

Morning everyone,
Am all tired this morning, think I can't handle the pace anymore haha.
My list is a bit short for this week so far. Need to post my old phone today to envirophone. If i get time as well going to go to Natwest as need to ask about the kind of evidence they need for salary. As from next month when OH is in police we will be able to get the mortgage we need. I don't know if they need 3 months payslips or what though. If they just need a letter from your work then we can start looking at houses now. My mum is worried the house prices are going up again.0 -
I wouldn't worry, every economist around says they're not about to go up for quite a while, also there is a LOT more houses for sale than buyers, so supply and demand is completely off-kilter. In addition mortgage costs are set to start climbing again at the end of the year, which they predict will send as many as 1 in 4 households into payment shock, and up to 1 in 20 might miss payments or default on their mortgage as a result. Basically, dead cat bounce might happen this year, but next year it's due to all start off again.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
