Aye it does look quite cute Cinny. Downstairs living room to the left, loo in the little one to the right and a kitchen/diner across the back?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks Flower! OH wasn't too impressed with the picture either, he decided to go on a diet after he saw it. Such a woman!
Close! It's a kitchen downstairs to the left, then a living/dining room at the back. A weird set up to me, I'm used to kithen diners and stand alone living rooms. Weird how you could guess it though!0 -
How exciting about the house Cinny, bet it is weird to think it will be yours!0

Does anyone know if i can put a hold on the books i have listed on amazon so that they cant sell while im on holiday?
Or do i need to just take all the listings off my inventory?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I think you can only end all open listings, then you have to relist them one by one when you get back.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Evening everyone
Well the good news the second part of the Northern Rock PPI thing was paid in today - £617.32. That was the last part I was expecting apart from a little bit due to them dragging their heels. They reckon they owe me another £392, though, so I guess that's 3 months payments back, which on the downside means we've got the rotten loan for an extra 3 months but on the plus side I can put it towards clearing the Capital One card and then we're gonna hit NR big time. As I'm in the process of transfering the Cap 1 balance to a 0% card I'm not going to put that money towards the card cos I'll leave myself short. In July I will have soe more money coming my way as I'm going to request my pension contributions from my company that I'm leaving. I can do this because I've been there less than 2 years. I think that'll be another £700 or so which will help with the debt busting.
All this talk of marriage earlier has reminded me of my little faux pas on Saturday. We went out with our friends who are getting married on Saturday and it's their wedding that has sparked talk of us getting married. Unfortunately I got a little bit tipsy (shall we say) and announced to everyone that we're going to New York for my birthday in October and that would be a good time for OH to propose  Er, no pressure then, sweetheart!!!! I can just see it now - he'll bend down to tie his shoe lace and I'll be getting excited and saying 'yes'! :rotfl:
Anyway, back to money saving - I've decided to look for a nice little savings account that has nothing to do with Nationwide so I can save some money and forget about it instead of putting it in the savings and then pulling it out when funds are low.
Anyway, have a good evening xxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Great news about the PPI payout Pilchard. I'm still trying to chase mine up. Got the usual, no you weren't mis-sold it blah blah blah, couldnt provide any proof or paper work. So sent my next letter 'pay up now!!' - maybe worded a bit nicer!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0

Good news about the money pilchard! Also that s just the sort of thing i would do , get all excited when OH has just bent down to pick something up.
I am feeling a bit ill at the moment, going to asda in a min then think i might come back and get in bed!0 -
Fab news on the PPI payment Pilchard! You'll be posting your own debtfree status in no time!
Things aren't looking so glum for OHs car anymore, we might not need the loan from my parents afterall which is nice! Filling time before Eastenders, entering comps, checking for MS jobs (still haven't got a thing!) and bugging OH at work. Running out of ideas!0
