See my ex's mac did get a virus (apaprently there are only about 3 around but he managed to get one), and it had to go back for repairs 4 times in 2 years (costing over £400 in total), so I thought it really unreliable.
You've got all of us on tenderhooks here Cinny waiting to find out if we can have a tax free income!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Morning everyone ,
Good start to the day as won a fiver on the scratch cards yay!
Wonder if Tete will have joined the DOTD club. My Oh was going on about getting engaged last night, he was winding me up saying he wasnt going to ask me and stuff. He does keep talking about it recently!0 -
I'd say it's very likely to be soon on the cards then Wendz, these men types like to test the water before commiting to asking and risking looking foolish (ask NIM, it's not nice to get given the wrong answer!!!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oooh Wendz, you could well be the next member of the DOTD club! OH was kind of shunted into action (he knew he'd get a yes from about 3 months into the relationship, I've never been coy!) when he realised that a lot of his friends are getting engaged and it kind of made sense since we were moving in together.
If he's talking about it I'd say that is a very good sign, OH would joke about 'if, when, possible, maybe...' but when I got serious about it he'd cover his ears and lalala to himself! It's only been recently that this has changed!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Got a strange MS for tonight, a bingo club. Decent fee but I'm pretty uncertain of what to do!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah yes, that's enough to put you off!
Wendz, that's quite excitinghow do you feel about it if he does ask?!

Just looked at the magazine and it's written funnily. But I think it's saying you can earn up to £4250 renting out a spare room, then another idea to make money is to get a job working in a bar. Too many punctuation marks make them seem connect though. False Alarm! Will get some numbers lined up for tomorrow and see how much extra you can earn a week before tax, when my mum worked from home I think it was £90?
I think there are a lot of pros and cons to macs and PCs. I just take the prettyness factor in though Poddle, OH takes in all the facts!
Me and OH are hoping to be saving at least £150 a month each for moving in costs, so we'll have at least 7.2k for buying things for the house. One thing I don't want is everyones cast offs and never having a full set of anything.
Dinah - Don't say that! OH keeps talking about getting engaged and says how there's an extra surprise to Kent, I know he'll be the guy I'll marry, but there's something about teenage engagements that are so cringey and false to me. But it does sound like it's playing on your OHs mind Wendz!
Ohh, and MS bingo. Could you give them bad marks if you don't win? Be a nice bonus if you did win though!0 -
Aye I know you've been with Rich a while now Cinny, but I only see a point to getting engaged if its followed up with a wedding, and without being patronising I think you're too young. People change and grow a lot in their early 20s, and if there is no rush you might as well check you're growing together.
I looked into the tax for painting purposes and I'm sure there was no second tax free allowance on second incomes, it was the one (£6100?) allowance and once you were over that it was just the flat rate of tax on all income. Having a weekly tax allowance would be really odd too!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I would be very happy if he asked me. We have had our ups and downs but i know he is the one now. I am probably building myself up for nothing now.
He said to me when would i want to get married and i said maybe 3 years and he said if we want to be with each other forever then why wait that long! I think it is more to do with being able to afford it for me.0
