tbh no I don't think any of it is pointless because it all adds together to be loads. That's kind of the premise of the £10 a day challenge, it shows how all these little bits couple together to make a big difference.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

OH has suggested going to have a look at laptops one afternoon this week
If he is anything like my OH that means that you are definatly getting a new laptop this week!! :rotfl: Once he has his mind set on something, he generally happens quite quickly.
Well have had one bit of good news. OHs dad rang him today as OH had asked him to think about what he would want to charge us for rent. He got back to us saying £300 a month for both of us - which i think is very reasonable so very happy with that. He said if the bills go up more than he thought then obviously we will have to revise that figure, but he thinks that should be fine.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
OK
Here goes.
Cinny and everyone, I don't know if you know about this website but I love it and I think you will too, https://www.craftster.org
I love it.
here are some links to some peoples awesome cakes Cinny I thought you could maybe think about (I haven't actually ever seen any of your creations (I would like to though!))
Chocolate cakes (I like the way of decorating with the chunk)
Just beautiful cakes
Favourite cakes of the moment - the butterflies
Again the butterflies, i think she mentions a book
A book to look for in the library?
I have this book and some of the decorating things are ace and really cute
And Wilton is an american cake brand which pretty much sells everything cake making and decorating you could ever imagine!
Again I dont know if this is even in the right vein at all but I think that this is a great thing and I hope that some of this helps!!0 -

Hey Tink - yes that's the same switch we have. It's a nightmare to remember. Do you have a timer for it? We do and I switched it down to half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening without telling the boys
Saved us loads as at one point we were paying almost £100 pm on electricity.
I know what you mean Flower about the hassle factor, but I definitely agree with Dinah. It all adds up in the end and doing those small things keeps you on track to resist the urge to splurge!
