    Morning Everyone!!

Was a bit busy last night to check on, been speaking with my grannapops, dad and Uncle about drawing out my premium bonds and putting them into the family property company. I've been offered 10% interest on it each year, which will earn me way more than keeping it where it is. Plus it'll build 'my' house :B My Dad and Uncle are going to talk it over at some point today, so we'll see how it goes!

Just been told I have to stay all day today, quite peeved as I had the hairdressers and had an afternoon planned with my mum. But I suppose the money is needed so I can't really turn it down. Might turn the hairdressers into my lunch break, hmm. Lord knows what work I'll be doing, my trays have little tumbleweeds!

Dinah - If cycling is all that's ever on your telly can I send my mum to live with you? She won't take up much space, but there's only so many Lance Armstrong hate rants one girl can take.

Right, I best get a move on. Have a nice morning!

Ooo got a nice big wage cheque from work with all my extra hours, it will nearly double my fees total so far. Great! Also we have money left over in our bank account this month - £200?! Who'd have thought it!

Think I will use £50 to pay off OD, and £50 for the MB fund. I have been lurking on the forums loads, shame we have missed the easy bets on football. Think it will have to be horse racing now which scares me a bit.

Morning everyone! Brill news Lara - and £200 left at the end of the month?! I had about £30 and THAT was good!

Had to laugh at Dinah noticing Flower's sig!

Cinny, that sounds good about 10% interest! I would LOVE an old 500, they are fantastic. Not many about though and not sure how reliable it'd be! New 500 vs secondhand 500 - I think they really keep their value, like the new Minis and Beetles so with the scrappage discount I'd actuallly be able to get a new one for cheaper than second hand at the min. I don't know, like I said I'm really torn and this morning I'm leaning more towards keeping my car or getting a newer old one if I need to.

Dinah, I agree with your 'lend the money to yourself' thing in principle but now I've finally built up some savings I really want to hang onto them.

Poolie. I've had my car two years and never had it serviced - I've checked the oil level a few times and I fill up the washer fluid stuff and pump up my back tyre quite often because apparently I've got a 'slow puncture', and I've washed it about three times. I'm a bad car owner.

Hope everyone's well this morning! Is it Friday yet?

Good news about the lovely big cheque Lara! And it's a bummer that you have to work all day at short notice Cinny but it'll be a big extra for the Disneyland fund! I'm working on Sunday evening (3ish hours at double time, can't turn it down since overtime is very scarce here!) so I'll hopefully have a nice big pay cheque next month!
The investing thingy sounds good Cinny, hope it works out, it'll be great if you can get your house built from the fund!

I think it's Wednesday Tete, the weekend is going to be a shock to my system! How was Drag me to Hell?

When my parents went to Italy last year and said there were loads of the old fiat 500s bumbling about, so they can't be too bad! I guess it's just like anything though, if you take care of it it'll last. Had to giggle at your car maintenance though Tete, at least it's had a wash!

Oooh, bad car owner! I was like that with my first car; I didn't realise that when I was sending my car for its MOT that it wasn't getting serviced at the same time (God knows how much services would have cost on top of all the other work, I loved my little Saxo but she cost a helluva lot to maintain!) Anyway, when I came to sell it the chap at the garage asked for the service history and went pale when I said I didn't have one! I have learnt my lesson now and keep my service books up to date!
I forgot to ask Cinny, how was it at your grandparents with the Children of the Corn?!

She wouldn't like our house then, mum loves Lance, even has a naked photo of him on a bike on the study wall.....
