See I would never recomend this for an antique, or even something from ikea, but nasty smoking paraphenalia, gone.

Woop woop - first ever MS on Sunday! A pub with RE, so that will be nice. Sorry to hear about your OH Birdie! Glad you had a good holiday Wendz.

Hey Dinah are there any creative ways of saving less and still getting what you want in the same timescale? What would you be prepared to compromise on? 90% mortgages are still on the market - are you sure you need £40,000? Or could you look for a place that you could extend instead of buying a 3 bed straight off? Or perhaps in a more up and coming area etc?

I do believe I'll be finding out if it is breakable soon! I don't even know why he's got an ashtray, he's never smoked! After I get rid of that the next object of my destruction will be the odd rugby ball face ornament thing (I can't even explain it it's that bad!) that has found its way onto our bedroom windowsill!

A little bit of careless dusting perhaps?

Right, new incentive - Save upto £950 before the end of June, loose a good half a stone. Then I can buy this dress http://www.frenchconnection.com/product/womens+Dresses/71DU1/Fairytale+Dress.htm
I don't believe I can say fairer than that.

Oooh, there's nothing wrong with a storage buying spree Birdie! I have more storage things than I have things to store  They'll come in useful, one day. I'm sure..

I used to be like that Cinny, I developed an addiction to 'Really Useful Boxes' and had more boxes than stuff... then I found more stuff to put in them and balance was restored! LOL!
Good luck on your saving £s/losing lbs challenge too! Trust you to find a dress called 'Fairytale'! :D

It really is! It even has a black eye and a bandage to add to the charm! I challenge anyone to better that in hideousness!

Thought you wanted a mixer not a dress? Gotta say I'd pick the dress and a hand whisk for £9 (mine was £8.99 and its fantastic!).

I'm a storage freak too, everything has a place AND that place is labelled.

Birdie, apart from picking you to be his missus, your fella has no taste!
