'Clean uniform? Did you clean one? No, there's your answer then love, you know where the washing machine is as well as I do'
I dont think OH even knows how to use the washing machine :rotfl:, usually i dont mind aslong as he puts his washing in the washing basket i will do it. But when he leaves his bag in the car with his uniform in how am i supposed to know it needs cleaning?
Sounds like you had a great time on holiday wendz, and great news about the house hunting!
Ooh less than four weeks til OH and i go on holiday!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I have gone nice and brown, did burn a bit though, backs of my legs were painful! Zante was really nice. It is quite English in the place we stayed in terms of bars etc but if you dont mind that then its good. It was a very pretty island.
Cinny - the turtles had just started coming in for the summer this week so will be laying their eggs soon, we watched a really interesting presentation on them.
The keyworkers scheme is where people like nurses and police people etc get help buying a house. i think it is something like they lend you up to 50% of the price at a lower rate and then you get a mortgage for other half, when you sell though you have to pay them back the amount they lent you. Not sure I have that totally right, need to do more research.
I had to do three loads of washing last night and washing basket is still overflowing0 -

Welcome back Wendz! Your hols sound lush *sigh* and great news on the house too, I bet you can't wait to start looking! Post-holiday washing is the worst - you always have to do everything even if you haven't worn it!
I do all the washing here, but I don't iron! And OH does his fair share, especially of all the yucky putting the bins out/washing the cars sort of jobs.
Poor Birdie, I think you need to tell OH his behaviour is just.not.on. Maybe poke him in the knee to show you mean business! Oh alright, not really, but I would be fuming! people just have different ideas of what is okay, like having piles of magazines or books on the coffee table doesn't bother me, but if OH leaves dirty tea cups out overnight I go barmyswings, roundabouts and compromises and all that...

Whoop, just won a Mars football! Yippee! No idea what I want with a football... maybe I can use it as a bribe to get OH to behave better!
Poddle, I've heard of this 'Iron' thing but no idea what it is! LOL!
I'm going to go on a storage buying spree I think, there'll be raffia baskets and magazine racks etc all over the place! What drives me maddest is that OH has his pile of clothes in our bedroom that I daren't touch because he wants to wear them and he's got little bags of pills (prescription, not recreational!) all over the place, and again, I daren't touch them because I want him to know where they are! I might buy a basket just for pills and he might get the hint! Saying that, I don't think he will. From nowhere a horrid Carling ashtray appeared on top of a short bookcase in our living room where OH put his spare change and keys. It really touches a nerve with me because it is so ugly and is on clear display so I went to Next and bought a posh blue dish for keys, he then put the ashtray next to it and uses it just for his stuff and only my keys live in the posh dish! I swear that boy can't compute Ugly!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:yea thats an alien concept to me aswell!
Birdie - i feel your pain about ugly things being left around the house, my OH has many strange things that have worked their way from his old bedroom at his mums house into our flat. I think the worst has to be a big bendy bully teddy thing that he tried to put on a shelf in the living room, needless to say it was banished to a box within hours.
OH does always moan about the amount of storage i have though, says im a storage freak!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
