Will it still be a puppy as I didn't think that moving in together was on the cards atm? Or is this not one specific dog just a general small dog as and when?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The cakes sound good Poddle, glad your OH loved his birthday! I was supposed to bake a cake to bring to work but I took the easy option and made Mars Bar Rice Crispie cakes instead as my arms were too sore to mix the cake batter! LOL!
I *think* my Galaxy book has arrived, I found a 'sorry we missed you' thingy from the postman yesterday, that OH had chucked in a pile of papers and hadn't shown me and it's dating back to the 9th May! He was lucky he wasn't around when I found it because I would have shoved it where the sun doesn't shine, I'm so sick of him 'tidying' my stuff away, he shows it no respect and just dumps my things where he deems suitable. I found a shirt and a jumper bundled up in a cloth tote bag stuck down the side of the sofa in the spare room- why would that seem like a good idea to anyone? The wardrobe was 3ft away, why not just put them in there, even if he couldn't be bothered to hang them up, just put them in there for me to sort!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be making a little straw figure of him Birdie and burning it on the balcony. That's not tidy that's plan messy and disorganised. Bit like painting a bomb with flowers, might look nice on the outside but its still all nasty underneath. Have you sat him down and told him how much it is getting to you?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

OHs family are starting to breed Newfoundlands, I think they're getting the babydaddy pup in about a month. Part of me thinks it's a bribe from OHs mum to get OH to move out, but I can live with that!
It'll be about 2 /3 years before we move in together, I'm starting to openly talk about it so when the time comes to move in I won't freak out as, technically, it's been on the cards for 3 years.
Birdie, I thought you and your OH had sorted that out? What a pain!! Be nice if it's your book though! I didn't think it was that long since you won it, I thought comps like that took ages for the prize to come!0 -
Galaxy sent mine in about 3 days, which was impressive. Which one did you get? I got 'the other boleyn girl' last time and have asked for 'things i want my daughters to know' this time, as I already have 'the memory keepers daughter' (I think, can't remember!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Afternoon everyone,
Sorry to hear you are having a down day Dinah. I think i have to agree with TPA and tete. You do need your quality of life as well as the savings, you should enjoy your time with NIM now he is here. What if you just reduced your savings by £100 a month, even then you would be able to do other things without struggling. You definatly need to put time aside for you and NIM tho!
Hope everyone else is ok today??Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
That level I quoted earlier is the lightly reduced level. We could cut it another £50 a month but then NIM would really have to look at doing the Sunday job, so that would be a bit counter productive!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I only think it's the book because I'm not expecting anything else! If it is, then bonus free things because I've not ordered anything!
OH does know how mad his 'tidying' makes me but does it anyway. He thinks that he is allowed to do what he likes with my stuff because he's at home all day and has to clean. He doesn't *have* to clean but feels obliged since I'm at work all day and get quite fed up to see a pile of washing in the sink and he's been playing on his xbox all day! When I found the bag with the clothes in I went into the bedroom, threw it on the bed and said 'What the hell?! How is this the correct place for my clothes?' and he just said 'I've decided that anything of yours left lying about goes in a bag and gets hidden out of sight'. He's just making things worse, like you say Dinah, it's just a painted bomb! The spare room is a nightmare now and I'm totally overfaced with how much there is to sort out now because he just keeps adding to it. He won't help me when I do tackle it, he'll just stand in the doorway laughing at me and say 'I suppose I'll have to put it all away when you give up?!'. I do love living with him most of the time but he can be such an idiot at times!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I think us setting a MS level would be counter productive at this point, as we have a big fat 0 jobs lined up after tomorrow. Well, one coffee at Dublin airport (love airport jobs, £12 fee!) but other than that, nada.
We had a MS meal on Saturday night and when we got there the pub has been partially demolished! Apparently it's closed for refurbishment, but I bet RE don't give us anything for the milage!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

You must have a longer temper than me Birdie, I'd have thrown something at him. If he's home all day and tidying, he has to do it for both not just him! That's stupidly selfish! God that comment about the spare room has got me really, really mad, and I don't even know the bloke.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
