Who was it who got contact lenses online? Trying to find a cheaper offer on daily disposables. I pay £22 with specsavers, tesco have them at £18.50.
Oh and yes TPA we got the pm thanks, not sure I really understand it but expect a return pm from NIM in the next few days.
Spent today drawing out canvases, have finally finished the big vintage woman drawing. I'm going to start the drawing of the next one in NIMs series now, simply because I find it really hard to draw around other people because thats the messy stage where I can make things go really wrong, but I'm fine to paint, so I want to get as much drawing out of the way before NIM stops working at times I'm not as I can.
Oh and looks like the farm may indeed want him on a weekend day over the summer season like he was hoping.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Great news about extra day at the farm for NIM.
Wasnt me who said about the lenses, but i would be interested to know aswell. I get monthly disposables at the mo for £13, but really want to get dailys without a huge price increase!!
So far today have done 4 hours of revision, and its getting boring now!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Very bad weekend, had to go draw another £10 out of the bank this morning. Last night me and my sister decided to drink everytime the english translation of a Eurovision song was disturbing. I think most people can guess how that went. Still, ended up with a midnight take away and a slightly dizzy Cinny footing the bill.
That's great (potential!) news about the farm Dinah! Well done on finishing the painting too. Another one to add too your portfolio?
I can't remember who mentioned the contact lenses either, there might be a thread for it somewhere on the forum though? Very vague considering the amount of threads there are.
Hope everyone's having a nice relaxing Sunday, 3 day weekend next!0 -

Can only begin to imagine how that went :rotfl::rotfl:
I absolutly hate eurovision with a passion, but OH watched the last half of it. Then OH went off on a rant about how no one votes because of the songs, but that its all political - has he really only just realised that??
Cant believe there is another bank holiday coming up!! I dont like them, everyone else gets the day off!! But for me its even more important to be at work :rolleyes:Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Hiya,
Just another thought re your website.... www.one.com are currently running a very cheap offer for small websites!
It works out as £10.35 for a whole year! That's 3gb of web space, e-mail addresses and the registration of your web address (providing it isn't already registered) They also allow you to create photo galleries and use templates so it might be ideal.
Seems a pretty good deal to me! :-)0 -
Hello everyone, hope a nice weekend has been had by all. Been a bit of a rainy one here, drove out to the middle of the Moors yesterday in bright sunshine, made it as far as the car park toilets only to find it tanking down when we came out, so duly drove all the way back and went to see Angels and Demons instead (really enjoyed it I don't care what the critics say), woke up this morning and it was forecast sunny til 3 so we trekked out to the middle of the Moors again, got two hours into our walk before realising we'd gone really wrong (though not as wrong as the old Canadian couple we met who were completely off the map, poor things!) - by the time we went back on ourselves it would be too late to carry on so we came back and went for tea and cake instead. So all in all not the most moneysaving weekend and all because of the bloody British weather! Did I just write that all in one sentence? Very sorry! Still another week until payday too, where does it all go???
Sorry, can't help with the contact lenses, I'm a very lazy moneysaver and mine cost £20 a month. Might have a look for Daysoft on Racer's advice though ...
I like your Eurovision drinking game Cinny, personally I'd have to drink just to get through it I think!!!
Sounds good about the farm for NIM, ad I guess that because you live together you shouldn't miss him too much on the odd Saturday?
OK I'm totaly shattered from basically sitting about all weekend, am going to climb into bed and try and get back into my book, bonsoir les filles!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Glad to hear about some great weekends - sorry about the £5 voucher episode. I had a similar thing with Argos - beasts.
Dinah that's brilliant news about the exhibition! Would love to see a few pictures of your pictures :rotfl:
Had a brilliant weekend at home. My new nephew is soooo gorgeous. Very smiley and well behaved, he's really lovely. I didn't succumb to OH cold, so got to have some lovely cuddles.
Everyone was really nice about the wedding, so I think we're allowed to do whatever we want
