Cinny, well done on getting a good hair photo and not buying Glamour...sadly I did buy it the other day, I'm not as strong as you are! I noticed in an ad that if you buy Easy Living magazine you get a free Cath Kidston washbag, I saw it and thought of you!

Little Miss Uni Debt do you have any recomendations for the best way for me to get a professional looking website with ability to purchase items from it? Needs to be a fairly user friendly format as I will be wanting to update the pictures on there regularly.

Yes Dinah, a whole ring! It's nice, just a simple silver band with the Tiffany stamps on, SIL got the same now and now we're 'Ring Buddies' (apparently, she's easily pleased!).
Tete, it was Marie Claire that came with the Body Shop butter- I got that one too! But I justified that purchase because I got the body butter that came free with it last year and it's run out and I was planning on getting some more so I saved myself some money by getting it free with the mag!

Afternoon all and a very happy birthday to Birdie! Lovely pressies and a cooked breakfast sound good - if you can't be spoilt on your birthday, when can you?! Very sorry to hear about your friend Tom though, what an inspirational guy.

I've had a productive day so far volunteering at this Arts festival at Charleston (which is where Virginia Woolf and all that used to hang out apparently) and... it turns out they're just about to advertise for an assistant to the curator-type position which sounds lovely! They're pleased with me because I'm helping them for nowt, so all I have to do is charm them - I've got 3 days next week to do so!

Cinny and Dinah - thanks so much for the cake advice :T I'm really going to do it! Mmm, but now I want to make brownies too! I'm cooking lunch for OH's bday on Sunday and I'm thinking of making mini chocolate & raspberry pavlovas for dessert. It's a Nigella recipe and the meringue has chocolatey chunks in it - amazing! Never imagined a chocolate meringue, but it works

Sounds lovely Poddle, there is a gorgeous sounding chocolate and cherry pavlova in Good Housekpping this month that I want to make, and its really almost healthy at 300 cals a serving.
