If I can get them to let me in, I'll see if I can convince them to have a launch and you will ofc be invited. They've had a couple of launches in the past, but not all that often, would be a great way to get more people to see my paintings though.

    Morning everyone

Just done part one of the MS, part two is tomorrow and I guess I have to avoid the bloke I spoke to today or he'll be suspicious - sounded dodgy even to me (the story, that is, not the bloke). At least it'll be a nice little £12.50 and I'm going to try and be good this year and use a spreadsheet to keep track of what I earn, spend etc (if I can work out the best way of arranging it). On the brief I had to call an 0870 number so not impressed with that. Mind you, it's made me even more determined to change my phone in October when the contract runs out cos there's so many good deals out there.

Dinah, good for you with the exhibition - hope it comes off and you make loads of money in commissions. As for the Barclaycard/Capital One thing, I hadn't really thought that I wouldn't be offered a deal to stay  I'll still give it a go, though cos you never know your luck.

Right, better go and do some housework to make my day off worthwhile :A
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

If you're with BT 0870 is local cost now.

Really hope BC do offer you the deal.

Trying to get my noggin around how to get my passport sorted, I think if I scrimp majorly this week, I'll be able to send it off next week. Will just nip to get the forms and have my picture taken while I'm in town (and not buy Glamour magazine)

Dinah, that's great news! Hope you manage to get it sorted, would be a fantastic way to get your work out there and hopefully a few sales too. If you get to do it, maybe you could get the local paper to cover it so even afterwards people would be able to contact you for paintings?

It's still raining! Hope the passport people wont mind it when my hair turns into a fro with the rain!

That's a good idea Cinny, the local paper usually covers new exhibitions, I'm trying not to get over excited in case it doesn't pay off. Really need to up my portfolio though, I don't have enough pieces of exhibition quality at the moment.

Oooh, exciting news Dinah! I hope it works out!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Well I'll keep my fingers crossed! Almost home time! Going to be good this afternoon and spend it baking and entering comps. Wish I had some wellies for this weather, I have primark pumps on and I don't think they're that waterproof! Have a nice afternoon everyone!
