Well done on the lemon cakes, Tete! Are these the ones that went a bit wrong last time? I'm glad you're only thinking 2D for a dinosaur cake! It hadn't even crossed my mind to go 3D  I was mostly just thinking about drawing a picture of a dinosaur on it... Although cutting out the shape of something like a Triceratops might not be so difficult *she mused hopefully*

I'd love to dress up as a cowgirl! The last time I did I was about 10 and it was amazing. You could plait a pipecleaner or some gardening wire into your hair so your plaits kick up at the ends! Brilliant :D

I thought I wasn't too bothered by them, living in the country we always had them nibbling on things but I have to admit that when the mouse appeared in the office I leapt about 4ft into the air and cleared the length of the office! Turns out I'm a little skittish when they appear!

You should have seen the 'big hard men' here when we had a mouse in the office!

:rotfl::rotfl:I dont blame them for being scared!!

We had a mouse in our old flat for about a week. Heard my cat scuttling around in the kitchen one day then saw this little mouse darting around. I think i must have lept about 10ft into the air!! I made OH come home from work :o:o
Cat was useless!! She wasnt quick enough for it. Did feel quite guilty when we eventually got it a week later with traps!!
That was the most un-MSE week i have ever had as i refused to go in the kitchen we lived off takeaways all week :rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening everyone

Just been trying to catch up on the thread but have skimmed through quickly. Saw the posts about New York and felt really guilty cos we're going there in October. I have done loads of overtime and should have put the money into paying off my credit cards but got itchy feet and decided that I had such a rubbish holiday in Tenerife that I was going to make up for it. Tried to think MS, though so booked Virgin Atlantic flights but went through Heathrow Airport website cos then you don't pay a credit card fee. For the hotel we went through quidco and got 10% cash back.

Got my mortgage money yesterday so put half away for the kitchen, saved some for Christmas (sorry, I know it's early) and paid off Barclaycard cos I couldn't afford to pay Cap1 card. My idea is that I will tell Barclaycard I want to close the card and they will offer me 0% then I'll transfer Cap1 cos their )% finishes this month. I'm aiming to pay both cards off by the end of the year and then next year, when the charges are lifted, I can start wacking money off the mortgage each month.

Been very good in the last couple of days, though, cos yesterday I went through that survey list Martin put up and signed up with loads of sites and forum groups and today I finally came out of the Mystery Shop desert and got a job for tomorrow.

Right, better go and have some dinner.
    Have a good evening xx

I don't know how I'm going to pull that one off ... Cinny?! :D

Rent a cake tin in the shape of one?! I don't know, I do cupcakes! I have a book of icing cakes for kids parties, pretty sure there's a Dinosaur in there somewhere (perhaps a Dragon?!) but still, I'll be able to smuggle it into work and scan it monday if that's not too late.

Sorry to hear about the MS job Sam! Still, your friend needed you and you'll make up the points!

Will catch up properly in the morning, OH is sat sighing saying how he feels unloved, I think he's staring at an empty bun case. Hungry perhaps? Best go fetch him a glass of milk and some buns! (The lemon ones sound loverly by the way Tete, I'd like a virtual one please :D)

Oooh, before I forget. Angels and Demons was vair vair good! Best go before OH gives up the will to live. Night all!
