    The safety of page 54.

At least the evil spirits on page 53 can't get us now.

I thought the rule was 100 pages? We just kept the last thread quiet and hoped no-one would notice the size!
ETA: There you go Dinah, page 54! :D

Quiet? There is more talking that goes on in this thread than at an old ladies knitting convention.

Yet for some reason you can't resist joining in with us gossipy old ladies!

Oh I do like a good natter.

Does NIM know that he is joining in with the gossipy "old" ladies.

PS - Now I would never class any of you young ladies as old.

He's a charmer isn't he?! ;) You've been having a good old gossip this morning! The Student Loans Company are rubbish - even when they're up to date they only send out statements for the previous tax year in November/December. I know that mine is going to go up again this year instead of down and that pees me off!

Poddle - I know how you feel. I used to work for them in both the IT and non-IT side of the business. I have heard all the complaints and know the problems with the system. It is annoying that you have to wait to be told what your statement balance was. When you do get it, it can be 6months+ out of date.

Having met NIM I think he'd be quite happy to be a gossipy old lady... think he'll look good with some knitting needles!
I'm glad I don't have a student load, it sounds like a very confusing business!

Tis a pain! You just assume that they're 'okay' as everyone gets them, but they still charge massive amounts of interest. Bless my OH, he thought that they were interest free! He was very lucky in that he's old enough to have got a grant instead. You wouldn't think he's that old, he's just requested a 'marbley chocolate affair in the shape of a dinosaur' when I asked if he wanted a birthday cake! I don't know how I'm going to pull that one off ... Cinny?! :D
