Hope they weren't as bad to work for! What do you do now?
Still in IT but working for a company in Slough. Enjoying it much more. Less politics.
Was great to get out of the public sector felt like I was doing the work of 3 or 4 men each day.
Where I am now I have a clearly defined day and not expected to be doing 3 or 4 people work unless I want to come in and claim Flexi for it.0 -
Great-my friend has had to go to casulty and her boyfriend has had to leave her there as he has to work and so she needs me to pick her up. As a result I have had to cancel my first ever MS and now have a score of -2 on my retail eyes account.
So annoyed...i mean my friend cant help it, but if she wasnt so clumsy!
Will they ever let me do another MS with a score of -2? What does the score mean/contribute?
Sorry-feeling very self pitying right now.

a 'marbley chocolate affair in the shape of a dinosaur'
He doesn't ask for much does he! I bet Cinny'll have a good idea though.
Maybe I'm being naive but I really don't worry about my student loan, I guess that the SLC sort out the payments, which are relative to earnings, it comes off your wages so you don't really miss it, and if you haven't paid it off by the time you retire they cancel it anyway. No-one's ever going to come knocking on your door for it.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Sorry to hear about your MS failure Sam! I don't use RE, so I can't help. Maybe if you contact them and explain that it was an emergency they'll let you reschedule? I had to change a MS last week after I missed it and it wasn't a problem (with Gap)
I'm on fire today! After getting all of my little to do things done, I've written my complaint to Subway that I've been meaning to do for 2 weeks! We turned up at 8.30 for food after spending the evening at hospital with OH's dad and they were all but closed despite the sign saying open till 9 so I've let my disappointment be known! Lets hope I'll get some free sandwiches!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Lol, he doesn't usually ask for anything! I'm hoping he was joking, but it would be cool if I actually did make one though. I think I'd be okay with the marble cake... it's just the dinosaur bit that concerns me!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
My OH is much less high-maintenance, he always just requests chocolate ice cream, last year I got him a tub and put candles in it and he was over the moon! He was also touched beyond all reason because I'd covered the table in a party tablecloth and bought napkins with balloons on...apparently he's never had anyone make such a fuss over his birthday bless him! That's why I'm throwing him a Cowboys and Indians party this year, because he's never had a proper birthday party!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Wow, cowboys and indians party sounds fab - are you going as Pocahontas? Hope you do get something from Subway, I think I might start complaining more!
Poddle, you could make a sponge cake and sort of cut it to the shape of a dinosaur and cover it with green icing? I'm thinking a 2D one rather than full on life-like model. I don't hink I mentioned the fab lemon cakes I made the other night did I? Bought myself a bun tray and it made all the difference in the spread-out-ability
I was just unpacking a box of stuff and found a tiny spider, male colleague #1 jumped up out of his seat, I thought to come and 'rescue' me, but he ran out of the room saying "I don't do spiders!" whilst male colleague #2 sort of shuddered and started scratching, saying "no, neither do I" - sheesh! Female colleague and I took the poor little thing outside and released him.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I'll be lucky if he actually gets up and gives me a card! He's paying for me to go on holiday (if and when we get our acts together and sort it!) so has said he can't buy me a present as well, which I appreciate but if it was the other way around I'd still get him a trinket to open even if it was only £1 worth! I think I just think about these things more than he does!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
