I normally give out 5-6 syringes depending on what is needed to be achieved. Your boyfriends dentist has been very generous.
I assume you have a review appointment booked to discussed with the dentist the success of the bleaching. If you are not happy wth the results, then request more syringes.:money: Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to everyone who has helped.0 -
My kits contain 12, but I give out half for the upper and the other half for the lower. I also give out extras at no extra cost if we don't get the right result after those.
You need to check with the dentist as to what's included, and how they dish the stuff out.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

I paid 200 the same as my boyfriend. My dentist gave me 2 syringes at the appointment. I then went back to pick up the remainder. I was given 3 more. I asked why only 5 and the receptionist said that 10 was far too much. She said they would never make any money. I suppose I should wait until my review. I don't want to be short changed.0

Is this for all you teeth or just top set/ bottom set?
5 is probably about right for just one arch, but you'll be lucky to get a good result for the whole mouth with that many.
The actual gel isn't very expensive - the thing you're paying for is the dentist's advice/supervision of the process, and for the peace of mind that you will be happy with the outcome. Bearing that in mind, you should have as much gel as is necessary to do the job, so even if they've only given you 5 so far, more should be available if necessary. How to find a dentist.
