Please can we get a description of 'Dave' (height, build, eye colour etc.), at present in my mind he's kinda George Cloonyish and you're that really nice girl I saw in a film the other day (very famous) but I can't remember her name .

You absolutey need to stop worrying about how much he earns; what he buys and what he does for a living. If he becomes over generous and starts to make you uncomfortable with costly gifts, then's the time to mention to him, that you'd rather he didn't, and you prefer him to his wallet.

What about if it was the other way around and you were loaded and he was skint ... would it make a difference to you (honestly)?

Not too much detail of Dave.. On the basis that you may have to come about this thread at some point (even if you only mention it and he doesn't atually see it).

Besides, you don't want anyone else to track him down and run off with him! I'd be tempted myself, if I didn't have such a lovely husband.

I think Dave really does sound lovely and obviously has a good mate looking out for him, and those are rare sometimes
I do get the vision of Taye calling 'Dave' Dave to his face without realising what she has said though!

Ok - I am starting to come to terms with the fact that this link will not be here forever as Taye and Dave sail off into the sunset ... but its so hard to conceive the thought ..... what am i going to do ..... the books are ok, but this is a real fairytale ....

haha you guys are funny but daves mine and i'll fight any man or woman who go's near him.

I have to admit i kinda wonder what he's think if he read this? or found out about it .. if he doens't think im weird enough already haha.

I know .. i know i should just stop stressing about the cash but i do it's hard, the reason his mate bought it up was cause dave had jumped in the car to go and buy some tools yesterday and i was stressing about the cost of them, i guess his mate thought it woul make me feel better to know that it wouldn't exactly hurt daves pocket. Still not sure Dave would have approved knowing his mate told me what he earns eeek.
