Glad the potty training is going OK. OHs niece is potty training and accidently weed on one of his sisters the other day while having a piggy back lol, we found it funny anyway.

Hope you are having a tasty pork dinner!

Potty training has been going well today, a couple of accidents but she fell asleep with no nappy on and stayed dry which was good. I was so worried lol. The accidents happened when she woke up so hugely forgiveable.

Awwwhh, the wee pet, I bet you've been quietly telling her to give up these expensive nappies so mummy will have even more money to throw at the loan! LOL

Hows this for organised? I have gotten the meat out for tomorrows dinner (pork lol) before I've even cooked tonights dinner. I'm scaring myself.

And now you are just showing off being so organised! Still, you do deserve a clap for that. :T How was the risotto?

Ooh I hadn't thought about the cost of the nappies. I'm so used to budgeting for them, that will be quite nice I guess, though wont be for a while yet.

The risotto was gorgeous. OH ate 2 big bowls of it, so it must have been good. Nice to know I have another recipe under my belt to add variety to meals.

I'm about to go and play OH at wii active, but my muscles are so sore from the last two days, don't hold out too much hope of beating him.

Dinner is in the slow cooker, paprika pork. Never had it before, hope it tastes lovely.

Received £17.43 from paypal this morning so paid £7.43 off my loan.

I have gotten to thinking about saving again and I really can't wait to rid myself of this debt to start saving. It'll be nice seeing totals go up rather than down for a change.

Mmmhh paprika pork sounds nice. Well done for yet another payment off your loan too.
Oh, and I meant to say how good is your DD1 giving you the tenner back too. That should make you feel real proud that you have brought her up so well, a lot of teenagers would just have kept it and spent it anyway.

Yes I know and part of me felt guilty that I didn't let her keep it, but decision made. I'm sure she'll be fleecing me for more money soon enough.

My car wouldn't start this morning, but thankfully just a flat battery as I haven't used it in over a week. Brother called out, duly started, took it for a long run to charge it and hopefully will start later when I test it out again.
It made me realise that I take my car for granted, and I shouldn't. I also don't have provision for anything happening. Have the accounts set up but no actual money going in them as money has been tight. I really need to work a good budget out so that even if it's only a couple of hundred it wont be so scary to find.

Oh how life would be so much simpler without these debts lol

You are doing brilliantly on the debt so when it is all gone you can start saving for anything that may come up.

Well done one the risotto, that is hard to do so a great achievement.
  • Risotto is great - Mr Vodka also loves it and I just vary it depending on what's in the house and what's on offer! Having salmon version this week as I found some in the freezer that needs eating up :)
Sounds like you are having a good week!
