I couldn;t resist rounding my account down and paying £3.36 off my loan lol

Off up in the loft to have a sort out whilst dd2 is at nursery. We'll see what we find.

Have fun!! I love rooting around in the loft - although most of the time I just end up sitting reminiscing over old photos and baby stuff!! :o

The loft was too hot I left OH to it. That's very naughty of me lol. I'm not in an ebay frame of mind so can't root for bits for there. I think I ebayed myself out over the last few months.
  • Hey Yukkibear, hope you don't mind me crashing your thread to ask for some MB advice!! I've been playing around with the spreadsheets tonight and have come up with the following, although I have realised that there is no introductory offer with Betdaq, I was just sorta using them for their figures!! So what I have is:

Wigan v Man Utd on Saturday

Back Man Utd at 1.65 at Betdaq with £20.00

    Lay 1.62 at Betfair

The lay risk is £13.03 (which is what I would be owe Betfair is Man Utd lost, out of my own money)

The lay stake is then £21.02 (this is what I would have at Betfair if Man Utd Lost)

The back return is £33 which is what I would get if Man Utd Won (with Betdaq)

Is this correct? Also, I'm confused as to how much money I would need to have in my Betfair account, and when it'd ned to be there - ie before I lay the bet with them?

I seem to be getting muddled up with what I would have where, with who - if that makes sense?

Any pointers would be great - I'm not sure if I'm looking for something more complex than it really is, or if it is just too much for my tiny brain!!

    Hi CWC.

Personally I would use Betdaq as an exchange bookie just like betfair but you can use them as the back bookie. (Make sure you join through a cash back site)
The odds are quite low so make sure any bet you place that will give you a free bet doesn;t have min odd of 2.0 (a lot of them do)

Those figures would give you a back return of £27.28 according to my spreadsheet not £33. (I'm assuming it's a SR bet, is that right?)

You would put in £20 at betdaq
    £10.77 at betfair

End result would give you £27.28 (back return)

So with no free bet or cash back etc that would make you a small loss on your stake of £30.77

Does that make sense to you?

£32.32 egg interest landed this morning so paid that off the loan. Need to work out the budget for next month and work out what and when I can pay what etc.

Myself and OH have just spent three hours gutting and bleaching the kitchen. It's one of those jobs that I can never do with dd2 around for obvious reasons. Am glad it's done, but feels as though the day has gone. I really need to find some motvation for ebay but it's still hiding somewhere.

Now the dining room looks as though a bomb has gone off in it lol.

Have just received an email to say I sold a book on Amazon so that's good and I can send OH up to the post office later to post it for me. Only a couple of quid for me but all helps.

You've completely lost me with the betting talk!!

Glad you're enjoying some great MSE days as well as 101 ways to eat pork!

You've really inspired me to keep going- if I keep doing my best with the pennies and pounds it will all add up!!

Thanks Jellie it's good to know I can inspire other peeple when I don't feel inspired myself.

Oh I have sorted and taken photos for 11 ebay listing over the weekend. I just have to write them up. Sadly there's nothing of any value, just tat.
