Orange and E2Save Cancelling Offpeak Tarriff Orders

I ordered one D600 on 1st March and one on 2nd March. The first one arrived in a day or so. I have been waiting for the second D600 for two weeks till I got this today:
Thank you for you recent order placed on the Orange Off Peak 1000.
Unfortunately due to the unexpected demand for this tariff Orange have
withdrawn this tariff and as such we are unable to fulfil this offer to
you.
We do however have a range of other excellent offers available on our
website and we will keep you informed should any offers similar to this
become available.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any
inconvenience caused and should you wish to order an alternative offer feel free
to give us a call or place on the website.

I got the same email as MrsMondragon today. I am not happy at all, they've had me waiting for 17 days before letting me know. I will be complaining.0

Err...nope. You got in the day before me and I got the "offer withdrawn blah, blah, blah..." email today. However, my OSPS one came through, so no big deal.headintheclouds wrote:Mine came today too. Was quite a surprise as I thought I was supposed to get an e-mail saying when it was going to be delivered. Ordered on 6 March, so I wasn't v. hopeful, but it's good as new, has charger, 2x64MB memory cards and one adaptor, USB cable, car charger, manual. Only thing I haven't got is handsfree set, and that's not a big deal, except it means I can't use the radio at the mo.
Maybe they are rolling them out slowly. Hope you all get yours.0 -

I got my w550i with orange about 4 days after I ordered it. It seems as they've been given an incredible deal with orange on the off peak tariffs, then just as they got lots of orders orange withdrew the plan in anticipation of building the order book for their april 1st deals.
My w550i's going on ebay this weekend I think, it's a great phone but doesn't work properly with my fctory fit vauxhall bluetooth car kit (as do most phones tbh- can't believe my company paid the money for them) and I'll just claim the cashback from the sim as per the contract.0 -

I placed my order for the Motorola Razr with the weekend taffif/cashback deal on the 2nd March. 8th March they say that it has been dispatched, but whenever I check on the tracker it says not available. Report it as not being deliverd on the 15th March. 17th March i get an email saying that my report has been entered onto the system. Great help, well done.
I decide to cancel the order after this and tell the so via email. 21st March get an email telling me that the order was dispatched on the 8th March. DUH!!! I know that ya bunch of *******!!!!
Reply with a stern email saying I am well aware of the fact they say they dispatched it, and having spent 20 mins on hold on their 0871 customer service number am not prepared to spend any money trying to contact them. I expect it sorted ASAP and want confirmation that I will not receive any bills from either them or Orange.
Looks like I will have to wait a few more days before I get a reply if past experience is anything to go by.
Just as an aside, I am not going to be messed around by this bunch and will have no problem reporting them to watchdog, trading standards, oftel etc etc. Anyone wanna join me? Can see an American-esque mass lawsuit being filed in the not too distant future!0 -

We have had similar problems with e2save.
have spend 5 days in totoal trying to send a phone back that 1. i wasnt getting as none left, 2. that was then cancelled on system, 3. then received. 4. called to send back , never received 2 callbacks from them called again got a date for collection and they tried to pick it up the day before (when im out), called again so hopefully sorted this time. loads of other wrong advice / q's given by customer service.
Also got told by C.S that from tomorrow no inbound calls it will now be web based company , at least that will save me sitting on the phone for 45 mins each time0
