Just paid my last credit card off, so for the 1st time in about 10 years I don't have any outstanding balances on my credit cards :j

Now to tackle the rest of my debts, debt-busting here I come!

(do you think we should get "Debt-busting" t-shirts printed?!)

pay day today so I paid £150 off my 0% cc from my pay.
Then I paid £25 off with a Topcash cheque.
Then, tonight I've been paid £50 via Paypal for an item I sold on Ebay - that will go off the card as well.
I've forgotten what my cc debit is but these days I look forward to the statement, to see those figures dropping !
  • Hi eveyone,

Well - I am really chuffed as the advert I put in the local paper to advertise my services as a babysitter has started to pay off. I babysat for a family on Tuesday evening for £25 cash and am doing all day on Sunday from 6.45am til teatime so I am hoping for £60 ish and more work to come next week.

Yay! It won't last forever though as the family are having difficulties at the moment - the mother has left as she's a relapsed alcoholic and the father runs his own business working silly hours - but the kids are lovely and its all £££ for me!

I have some more good news YAY :rotfl:
Just got back from a wonderful special needs funday which DS2 thoroughly enjoyed (once we prised him away from the coke machine, got him out from under the table  ,put some eardefenders on him and bribed him with a treat :rotfl: oh not to mention getting him unwedged from a tiny gap he somehow wedged himself into!!)
Was very good though and we found out a lot more about the services in our area which will help us in the long run and also save us a few pennies as we can get funding for out of school clubs etc :D

I have received in the post 5 x vouchers from ING that will pay me £10 and a friend £10 if they open up an ING account - starting with just £1 as far as I can see!!

    This could be good...

Silly news, but good all the same. I popped into tesco today to buy a chicken, took it to the checkout and the lady said it's buy one get one free. So she went to get me another chicken. So I now have 2 chickens for £2.99 bargain. Just have to get lots of ideas now how to cook different meals with them.

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this site (wish I had knew about this years ago...) :(
My good news is that I have started saving £2 savings I already have £6. I have a lovely Garfield Cat money box with "Donations Accepted" on his jumper. Wonder If I could charge my visitors £2 entrance fee ;)

I also paid the minimum amount of £45.00 on my Bcard plus and extra £64.00 on top. In my spending days this would have been spent elsewhere. :T
