Well done D&DD
I've updated my sig today. It's really put a smile on my face I thought that we were treading water this month - I'd forgotten that we'd paid a little extra off our CC at the start of the month :j
When can I update it again!!!0 -
Thanks for this thread D&DD - I'm going to update my sig again to update the debt free day from June 2012 to Dec 2010 :j
Now I'm going to look at the freebies board and see if there's anything there for me today0 -
Some more good news today for me :j
Received a letter from Orange (my previous mobile phone provider) to say that my now closed account is in credit of £18.90!
I will be receiving that in the next few weeks so my current account will be better off than I thought
Have a great Saturday everyone!Leason learnt :beer:0 -

Wow, well done, that's a really big reduction in your DFD!
My good news this week - I got £187 performance bonus from my old employer for last year. Not bad as I haven't actually done any work for them since October 2004 (Legit - Mat leave and then redundancy).0 -
Some lovely news on here today! :j
I had a phone call earlier....my car passed it's MOT with no extra spends to get it through!
And the mechanic managed to fix the problem I moaned about a few weeks ago of the internal fan not working - for free! (Apparantly it was a bad connection).
I am sooooo happy...I thought it could have been D-Day for the car today....possibly ending up at the big forecourt in the sky but I have a reprieve! :TBank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Thank you Alleycat! You are doing great and always post nice messages so I am very happy you now feel comfortable enough to put your debt details up!

Well, I've been posting on this board now since Augustish last year but have only in the last 6 months really cracked the whip with our debts. Previously we were doing okay, meeting payments etc but now I just want it cleared asap as it will allow us to move to London near my folks.
Anyway, Moozie you have come an awful long way since you started here. It really is amazing the turnaround for so many of us. Not just in pounds, but in attitude and positivity."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0
