I did ask for paperless billing when calling but the lady said I had to sort that online. I don't know where I can arrange this as the paperwork doesn't say

How would I get this free connection deal now then? When I phone BT on their free phone number they don't seem to know anything about it. Thanks

The request was made in public; why couldn't the response use the same channel?

I've just moved into a new flat and there is a BT line in the lounge. I plugged in a phone and there's a dial tone.

Would I still have to pay £122.50 for this line to be activated? (assuming this offer didn't exist of course)

I ask because I just went through the online order process for the Evening + Weekend deal and there was never a mention of connection charges etc. I don't want to then have a £122.50 charge slapped on my first bill.

I started on the online process for evening/weekend calls today (before I saw this offer). It did say somewhere that if for any reason they are unable to offer free standard connection (eg if the line has previously been disconnected or there is a damaged socket) then they will call you before procesisng your order. So there should be no surprises. :)

If you can get the free connectionin the usual online process then do it that way, as you can get free evening & wekend calls for the same price as free weekend calls only

I needed a fresh line to be installed as mine had previously been disconnected. I managed to get the free connection but the condition was an 18 month contract and the deal was free weekend (not evening) calls only on the lowest price plan.

See the page that is linked from the first message in this thread. I used that number and asked for the free line connection offer and had no problems :)

Just had my line connected under this offer and had my first bill already.

I was under the impression that the Unlimited Evening and Weekend Calls package was 'FREE', however I am being charged £15.45 per month including line rental?

    Is this correct?

    Thanks

"Calling Plan monthly charges, including line rental, associated with this offer are:

Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan £14.20* Inc. VAT"

If you add paper billing that comes to £15.45

You cant combine the deal with any other special offer.
