and another one joins the list, I wish I had searched before I paid this scammer! £36 worth of goods never delivered. Paid for on 5th May and never delivered. Told to wait but having found all the complaints online I guess it will bever arrive. Am very disappointed in him and myself for being scammed! That is me done with internet shopping for good.0

And another one....
I ordered back in January and as yet am still waiting for a reply. I did request an explanation in april and was told it was due to financial difficulties.
I have also reported to trading standards / watchdog and have sent an email to unitedhosting.co.uk so I will see what that leads to.
One point to note is that if this was a royal mail issue then it would be covered by insurance so would not be a financial issue for them!!!!!
Anyway I wait to hear the latest email from "chris" (with interesting "facts") to entertain me for the rest of the day.0 -
apparently Host Gator host this site so best to contact them, hostgator.com0

I feared that I may have been scammed, and this forum no doubt confirms this.
My Mothers Day order was for over £40 and never arrived. At first I thought 'Chris' was being helpful in his prompt replies, and now can't believe that he actually has the audacity to engage with the customers he is scamming. Obviously never going to see this money again, particularly with the company's current 'financial difficulties'...
I will complain to trading standards and watch dog also - this is ridiculous.
For laughs, my experience below:

UPDATE: Refund for the full amount now received!
Sent Chris an email saying that I was on the verge of going to the national consumer press (which I happen to have lots of contacts in), and 3 days later, the money is back in my account.
Does make me wonder though whether this is a scam, or genuinely someone who has NO idea how to run a business, and is gradually getting in to more and more financial trouble.0 -

I am so pleased to hear this.
Has anyone else had a satisfactory outcome yet? I have just sent off an email saying I am going to conact Royal Mail and Trading Standards, as my recpacement perfume still has not arrived.
Why is this person still being allowed to take peoples money?0 -
D'oh! Another sucker joins the list. Wish I'd checked this company out before dealing with them. This is the only bad experience I've had in over 10 years of shopping online.
I'll fire emails off to watchdog, trading standards and the usual, then.0 -
..........oh dear same old story for me..will I get my £40 back

I feel the same way, bought from all sorts of firms during the time I have been using online shoping, but now things are getting bad. Plus being scammed by Great British Mobility. I am now going to stick to the big firms I know and trust.
This person at the Perfume Emporium seems to be using the money from new purchasers to pay off previous customers, does this actually constitute fraud or unauthorised borrowing or something?0 -
OK, so I was another back in March when I tried to buy for a gift.
I came accross the review sites when searching for the Perfume Emporium's web site to start chasing my order, and was met with the usual "Royal Mail have lost your parcel" response.
After a couple of phone calls to Trading Standards etc I contacted Barclays who advised me that they could recover my money as I was signed up to the verified visa scheme.
I had to wait the statutory 30 days and provide proof of my attempt to recover the money. Fortunately I had kept the emails between me and this company, so I forwarded copies of these to Barclays and a week or two later I received a letter from them saying my money had been returned to my account.0
