Thanks for your help Matt. I bet you're happy you dont have to deal with them anymore.
Ive just reported them to Watchdog Im fuming that this is happening. Never have I been through such an experience although I appreciate my experience is not the worst0 -
Thank you for that update, mattwallisuk - it's very good of you to bother. I am truly ashamed to admit that at one point I did think you might have something to do with Chris, as you appeared to be defending him. I now realise that you were completely correct in your approach as you obviously had to leave personal feelings/opinons to one side and approach the whole thing in a professional way. I might still stand to lose some money - but I have learnt not to judge too quickly! Thanks for that lesson in life!!:T0

i was promised a refund around on the 7th of august in accordance of the long distance selling regulations and guess what no refund, iam going to report him to the office of fair trading as he as now contravenned these regulations and i will complain about them unless they shut this guy down now !0

And are now outside the 30 days!
I am persisting but what is the quickest way to get my money back.
I will do anything I can to help get this criminals web site shut down! Traders like this give reputable traders a bad name as this is the 1st time I have been caught but will now only use the major players web sites!
So many familiar experiences reported on here. How can we prevent other unsuspecting people from the pain of this??0 -
I now have my money back. I send him a message as I was outside the 30 days he had asked me to wait. Bearing in mind this message was after going backwards and forwards with him after the 30 day deadline.
I told him that I reported the issue to the Office of Fair trading and am in the process of reporting it to the police.
Also said he was a scammer who steals peoples money and that I wanted mine back now!

I had an almost matching experience as other contributors and am now past the 30 days for a refund without receiving one. I complained to the Trading Standards Office in Nottingham who know this company well and have visited it to discuss matters. They believe this is a guy trying to run a business but unable to manage it properly. They say most cases they have dealt with or contacted have eventually received a refund and they recommend sending a final warning by letter (recorded delivery) giving a final 14 days to pay. This to be followed up by initiating legal action through Small Claims Court or Money Claims Online accessed through HM Courts Service website. In most cases he then pays up.

That is interesting Normski3.
However, I am at a loss to understand why people (including Trading Standards in Nottingham) simply believe that it is a guy not managing a business correctly. This just is not so. He is a totally corrupt, lying conman. His first lie is advertising that he has the goods in the first place - I do not believe that they are ever available. He further lies that someone picks up the parcels each day and delivers to a post office. Then when the customer tells him they have not received the goods he lies that he sends the parcel again. I know that he only has ONE claim in to Royal Mail for loss of a parcel - with all the things he claims to lose he should actually have a dedicated member of staff asigned to him! I just cannot believe he has got away with it/continues to get away with it.0 -
totally agree i think that trading standards should hang their heads in shame knowing that this guy is doing this to people and are doing nothing about it, doesnt exactly inspire confidence in trading standards does it?0

Is there anything else we can do about him? Ive reported him to watchdog but will that do anything?0
