I hate my glass straightners. The velvet part on the side of the glass has wore off and I've only had them since April.
I'm finally going to have some GHD's for xmas and I can't wait!"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

I get my Tigi "Catwalk" Fashionista Smooth and Shine from the hairdressers. Its £9 but lasts me about 6 months. You only use a very small amount - about the size of a 1p - and smooth it through wet hair. Also before straightening, I blast it with the cold air on the hairdryer - makes my hair lay flatter! Then I just finish off with Asda Serum £1.37 - just as good as expensive ones I have tried.bluemeanie999 wrote:can someone please tell me more about this tigi hair product ??? ive got ghd's, like frizz head i have very long, thick but wirey hair and i wouldnt be without them. im paying a bomb for heat protector spray

My wife had said she wanted some for christmas (but didn't tell me what sort) she doesn't have curly hair but last time at the hairdressers he used a straightener and she liked the result. These should do the job then?0

I`m afraid I hated the glass ones too. I got some free when littlewoods were doing a promotion awhile ago, if you bought a babyliss footspa you got them free.
They had a velvet strip on them, and I was having to straighten twice a day otherwise i`d frizz out.
Binned them in the end and invested in some GHD`s.. worth every penny.
Now after washing, I straighten once and it lasts until I have to wash my hair again !! I have long elbow length thick hair.
