Hi.
I really dont think GHD are that brilliant. I use straighteners every day without fail and have no problems but when i visit the hairdressers they get out their posh GHD's and it seems to take them ages to iron out all my kinks. My latest straighteners are Thermo Ionic by Hair Tools. I paid about £45 for them off Ebay and they are fantastic !! Any of the straighteners that state they reach 210-220 degrees in argos will be just as wonderful. I think GHD are just a status thing with hairdressers and us poor normal shoppers have been sucked in by it all. Hope this helps. If you want to get ahead in the Rat Race then you will need some faster Rats !! :rolleyes:0 -
Thanks guys, it has to be GHD, i have my orders. Still haven't found them any cheaper than £75 delivered.........
Is there any discount codes for stylingshop.com?????What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
Please recommend hair straighters for me ...............I recently had my hair cut shortish/just above shoulder but it is very curly (not nice curly but stick out every which way curly:D )
so I need a pair of straighteners and don't know anything about them ,and I really don't want to buy a rubbish pair and burn/ruin my hair:eek:
please help if you can
criteria...........easy to use and don't damage hair0 -
I bought a 'cheap' pair (£25) about 2yrs ago and they did absolutely nothing for my hair - even though I'd try messing with it for about 1/2 hour.
My hair has quite a bit of curl in it - but after going to the hairdressers and coming home with 'straight' hair thought I'd try again.
I've just bought myself a pair of ghd - I went through all the threads on here and found this name mentioned all the time.
To be honest they are absolutely fantastic and for someone who hates spending time on their hair are a godsend - 5/10mins at the most and its done.
Good luck
