    HI Swinstie and Everyone else,

I am doing okay. I read on the site occassionaly but don't really feel much in the mood to post. It's nice to see how other's are getting on though.

I have been on my own in the evenings this week and the first thing that I would do is call mum - that has been really hard. Seeing Mother's Day stuff in the shops also set me off - tere are so many things that are coming up that mum will miss.

Work has been really busy which has been good in a way. I'm feeling bad because I haven't been able to see dad but I am planning on going over quite a bit over the weekend.

On the money front - I haven't really got much to report. I've got some money to last me to pay day and then I should be able to make a decent payment on my debt. It feels a bit meaningless at the moment.

Sorry - feeling a bit low tonight.

    Hope you are all okay.

    Hi Everyone

It's been a bit of a weekend. My body had finally given up and given in to a nasty cough. I have been hacking away all weekend! I managed to get a GP appointment and have some antibiotics as I have a throat infection! I'm going to head off to bed shortly.

Life is a bit stressful at the moment - I need to make some decisions about the wedding at the end of may. I am finding it very upsetting and really don't know what to do.

On a more positive note, I updated my finances this weekend. If my numbers add up correctly (and things may have changed a little) I should finish my student loan payments in March and I will have about £500 remaining debt to take into April. I did want to be debt free in March but it wasn't meant to be.

I hope you are all okay.

A few weeks onto your debt free date is nothing in the bigger scheme of things.

What is more important is that you get yourself better xx

I totally agree with Hypno here.

Good luck in deciding what you want to do about the wedding...you have a few months to mull it over.

    Take care xxx

    Hi Everyone,

I've been off work today following a terrible night's sleep and unstoppable coughing fits. My throat feels like someone's thrown a cheese grater down it!

In between my mini sleeps I have been thinking about what I'd like to achieve after I become debt free. I think I also have to think about what my short, medium and long term goals are so that I can decide how to focus my money. I also need to get OH onside as we aim towards some things together (I.e. Buying a house!).

I think this will need some thought. Every year I try to set some goals but I have not done that this year. I think that I will have a think about it and set some goals over Easter.

Back to rest for a little while!

Hey urg, hope you are resting, think the sore throat is going around as I have one too (and sore ears). Mini goals are better than big ones, they don't seem as daunting.

Hope you feel better soon, take care of yourself x
