I have been thinking about you since I read your news and posted. I can't write very well about stuff like this, the loss of my father is still quite raw and so I tend to just shut up.
I just wanted you to know that you really are in my thoughts and will be for a while yet

Thank you for your kind messages.
The funeral went well and was well attended. By the end of the day I was all cried out and numb. I have been off all week and my brothers and I have been helping dad with the practical stuff. I've also taken some time to catch up on the house - I had neglected it over the last few weeks what with mum being unwell and the regular visits to the hospital.
It's been a strange few days - OH went back to work on Tuesday. I have been feeling very numb - I think it's the exhaustion that I have been experiencing. I catch myself crying at the oddest times. I know that this is part f grief and I'll have to deal with it as it comes.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts - I know that this is a place where I will be supported.
