    There is software on the forum which you can download to unlock it, otherwise take it to a market/pro unlocker.

    You need the hardware to do this and is about £200

    I'm afraid it's a BB5 phone, so no remote codes. You will have contact your network provider, or pro unlocker here. If your software version is in double fiquers, it's a SL3 so it will cost you more than a normal BB5 unlock. Press *#0000# to find out.

    I havnt yet but i have 2 on short list the 5230 and a 6700. So just checking out if its possible to be unlocked.

    It's a BB5 SL3 phone version 12.0 RM 588.

    oki doki mate. think ill pass on the 5230 as i'm still waiting on my 6303 i got at xmas to be unlocked foir a reasonable fee. What about the 6700??
