Am on here and just thinking I waste too much money so looking for some challenge and to keep myself on track. Not wanting to bring things down but after 3 years of ttc we fell pregnant in December last year. Sadly we lost our bubba boy at 20 weeks back in March - it's been an incredibly hard time but we're holding up and trying to stay strong. Won't go into details but hoping one day will feel strong enough to try again.

Anyway enough of me and things. Happy plans re house sound amazing and I hope bubba no 2 makes an appearance for you. Jwil...you must be so excited. A Christmas baby :-) OF - amazing work on those debts.

Glad to see you are all well and still about. Sorry for hijacking thread happy but seems all those I remember on here.

Ah choc don't worry about hi jacking! I was thinking about you just the other day too and wondered how you was.... im so sorry you had to go through such a loss and by all means when the time is right talk about it. I hope I manage to be online when your next on. xx

Thanks Happy. Keeping ourselves busy with house DIY and we have booked a trip to see my sister in Australia for September so keeping ourselves going. It's incredible hard and I get very angry at things but all part of it I guess. Time, as they say, is a healer. I really hope that we feel stronger to try again soon and have our forever baby. With any luck my body now knows what to do now as think I said before we came under the 'unexplained infertility' bracket...whatever that really means! I know i'm supposed to be a mummy and although sadly not with our precious boy, hopefully one day with our second.

Sooo how is the house selling/buying situ? I really hope it all goes smoothly for you hun.

I'm trying to keep focused with money as been wasting it lately and hate that. I want to build savings, house diy and overpay mortgage....why is it money plays a part in head all day everyday eh?:rotfl:

Right, must get back to sanding and filling holes....just had me a diet coke break whilst the men off to diy shop.

Hi choc, house on the market watch this space. We have been looking at houses but haven't found anything that jumps out the few that I have seen suddenly sell lol always the case:). Im kepig everything crossed for your forever baby keep posting its nice to see speak to you xx

Thank you Happy. You couldn't write our last year to be honest...my sis in Aus had baby Feb at 25 weeks (waters broke 19wks) - you can imagine and bubba boy was so poorly but doing so well now amazingly!!! Defied ever odd thrown at him but it was 4 months in intesive care before moving to normal wards. The in October my sis in law was killed in car crash on her way to work and then us with bubba. I'm amazed i'm still standing but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I really feel for OH's parents as both their sons have gone through major traumatic experiences in less than 6 months. It's tough on them :-(

Gosh i'm sorry, clearly off loading. Apologies!! Weirdly I miss coming on here and chatting. May start a savings/mortgage and keeping on track diary! May have redundancy looming later this year so need to get things in order.

I'm so glad all is going well in your planning sweetie. It's great that nothing too exciting has come on whilst you are still selling. That dream home will turn up just when you want it to, i'm sure.

How is your little man? Can't beleive how quickly the time has flown!

So sorry about your awful year, and your little boy. I'm 20 weeks now, and can't begin to imagine how heartbreaking that was for you. I hope that when you try again, you soon get your baby.

Let us know if you start a diary, it's nice to have somewhere to waffle I find

Choc there are no words to comfort such terrible run of news I don't know how your still been so strong, its admirable. Please off load all you want its good to get things off your chest. I am going away for a week im looking forward to it little man is doing great hes nearly `1! hes a lazy monkey no intrest in crawling happy to roll for what he wants im trying not to worry about it lol xx money wise things are on track il be glad when I don't have to worry so much about budgets xx

My little man didn't crawl until he was nearly one. He started about 3 days before I went back to work! I was just thankful that someone else had to do a lot of the chasing around :rotfl:
