  • Lol....no I guess not Happy. You guys do an amazing job!

The rate you're going you'll notice the difference before you know it. It's lovely when it goes down isn't it :-)

I want to consider moving next year but with a restructure and redundancy looming can't make any decision. Basically jobs will be going, change in everyones job descriptions making them more generic and far less jobs then people applying :o Hey ho, what will be will be. I can't get stressed about it as in the scheme of things it's not the worst thing in the world. Although I would like to keep a job and not have redundancy!

    xx

  • Failed my mission haha
Anyway after reassessing finances I have decided the following
    - pay all unsecured finances off by July 2017 - maybe sooner depends on my numbers and overtime amounts etc
    - save £5k for ivf ( will be achieved in may)
    - save £10k for a house deposit ( already have 7.5k)
    - Depending on house sale and outstanding secured loan either a) overpay mortgage or b) clear the remainder of secured loan

All in all financial plans looking good, house was revalued at less than we planned but il cross that bridge when we come to it, secured loan have said whatever is not cleared will convert to unsecured loan ( I wont know what the interest on this will be ) seeing bank this week so I will discuss these options and either consider a commercial unsecured loan to meet the short fall but as you can imagine I need to know what kind of difference this will make to our mortgage promise and I don't want to do it too soon when I don't need to etc ...
Il update my number again soon

Sounds like you are busy busy planning happy. Very exciting plans ahead though!

Been busy here sorting and decluttering. Emptied our entire loft this weekend and now have just storages boxes going back that are all stackable rather than everything everywhere. Feels good :-) Last weekend we were away in Lake District for long wend with the pooch, was lovely....just shame have to come back.

Keep us posted on all your plans...I love hearing them. Need to get my backside into gear as possible won't have job come June with restructure and redundancies coming up, eek!!! xx
  • Nothing worse than the cold reality of coming home after a nice holiday, sorry to hear about the potential job loss :(. How are you otherwise x
