Nothing worse than the cold reality of coming home after a nice holiday, sorry to hear about the potential job loss :(. How are you otherwise x

Indeed, especially as I love it there sooooo much!!

I'm trying not to worry about the work thing too much. If I get made redundant I think we could make it last a year.

On other news, we're pregnant again! Currently just over 17 weeks. To say i'm nervous/anxious and so many more things is an understatement. It's bringing up so many emotions but thats normal. I'm praying so much that everything will be ok for this little bubba. My next milestone is 20 week scan and everything being ok and getting past that. Bubba two is due early July. To be honest mentioning it here is a big step, we haven't told many i'm too scared.

Thinking of starting my own little diary after 20 weeks (too scared to do anything before!) to getting self back on track and to stop wasting money. We've no debts as such but need to focus on budgeting better, saving for future house move and obviously if i'm made redundant then I need to plan plan plan the finances to make them last.

Anyway will leave it there as yapping. Look forward to more updates. xx
  • That's FANTASTIC and I also understand your cautious feelings hurry up 20 weeks and come and get baby bubba here safely. I have everything crossed for you. We will hopefully be venturing on our ivf journey in the month you give birth :)
I'm looking forward to diary from you keeping you on track, its easily to start spending silly when we loose focus. I have added in a budget this year to cover all incidentals such as car mots hair eyebrows etc pet stuff, we can easily afford these things in one months salary but then it cuts a massive loss from us so over the year makes it easier and less intrusive on our numbers.
Seeing the bank gain today to review mortgage promise etc :) excited although I still haven't seen anything I like xx

Just quick one to say had 20 week scan yesterday and everything is as it should be and little bubba doing well. Can't tell you how much of a relief it is!

Now on a mission to prepare house, us, car, money....arrgghh! All will be ok though. As long as little bubba arrives safely come July the rest can all fall into place somehow.

How's the house plans coming along? xx

  • Hi OF, Hi choc
That's great news re the scan at 20 weeks :) yippeeeee
All good with us here just keeping head down and getting finances in order. House off the market decided to do a little bit of diy etc and see if that helps I don't really want to spend too much on it but if its going to get us a sale I will have to swallow it and deal with it.
Feeling a little glum had an unusual late period and I got my hopes up :( I should know better really.
Anyway onwards and upwards as they say xx

Ahh Choc, I know that feeling. Has happened so many times over the years and it knocks you silly after getting your hopes up. I hope you are ok and being kind to yourself. Mother nature can be so cruel :-(

What sort of DIY do you have planned? If it gets you to your goal of moving then it's time well spent for sure.

    xxx
  • Hi choc, I'm ok now I have got over the misery of the witch visit. DIY wise as minimal as possible I don't think we can make much more on the house and because its already less than what we paid originally I don't want to spend too much :S.
I'm planning on re doing the yard/ car area, how are you ? x

It's amazing how little changes can make all the difference to getting a sale and not having to spend too much. Good luck!

I'm good thanks. Just thought it'd be a good idea to hoover house through and mop all the floors....cream crackered now! Never mind, should sleep well and it's done :-) xx
  • Hi all, ive been quiet because i have been walling in financial pity lol, feeling really frustrated atm with the house and lack of move and just feeling like the last several years of slogging and keeping out of the red has benefited me very little i would have been better doing an iva or something, well thats how i feel, we just dont have enough room in this flat and when we have another baby space will be even tighter i dont know what to do for the best cause i feel like i am in a rock and hard place atm :(

    Oh Happy...

I am so sorry to hear you are feeling so down.

Are you getting the viewers in? Could you change estate agents?

Be very proud of not going through an IVA Happy - it night have been an easier route but you managed to sort yourself out without it which is fab.
