Glad you are cherrier - I have found that it works for me to ignore the bigger one for the moment and concentrate on manageable bite size chunks. So although debt is £42, I am ignoring the loan and working on virgin and bcard. I feel I cancope with that easier - but keep it on my sig because however I compartmentalise it is still there when all said and done.
  • Hooray for Payday!
I need to try to get my head around the horrors of Christmas shopping when we get paid so actually not looking forward to payday in some respects!

  • I think i need to sit down with DH and plan out pressies, then try to buy anything I can via topcashback too! If we buy everything next week it will avoid the last minute buying which tends to result in overspending as i get in a panic!
We should be able to keep it under £150 but it depends on the kids pressies as my default setting is to overindulge them

Hope the xmas shopping is cheap for you Happy....i've done all mine (apart from OH) for less than £100 ;)
  • Evening everyone :-) I'm already wishing the end of November away because I want more direct debits to go out so I can so geekily update my signiture :-). Managed to nearly finish Xmas shopping not within budget but we had some extra cash stored in ebay so we have utilised that. Plenty social gatherings this month none that can be cancelled because they are already paid for :-/ the thought did cross my mind. I figured just meeting all allocated payments this month would be enough and then any extra is good but no pressure :-). I do like pressure because i like the thought of leas debt but in December it's hard to be meeting such targets so roll on 2011 and happy debt busting galore :-) I want to more than smash my target so fingers crosses :-) anyway must dash, thought it appropriate I pay more attention to my diary it may keep me restrained :-) xx
