Hi Happy
We use one account for direct debits and have another account for spending money, we just have to make sure we keep a close eye on the direct debit account in case a Direct debit increases, but the last two months I've managed to be just about right!
I understand your frustration about how long it will take to become debt free but like others have said you are making great progress.Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13

Sometimes it's nice to have one creditor less, even if it isn't the highest interest one necessarily, it's a good motivator xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

It is yes but my lowest creditor would only save me £35 but then it would stand me at 75o less of debt straight awat but then so would paying off more on the high intrest il play with numbers till pay day lol then il just pull my finger out and over pay and be done with it
im happy at any number reducing really

Sorry I missed you feeling so down hun, x
I'd go with the clearing one, it will be one less to remember to pay and to think about. Then you can give yourself a pat on the back. 26 pay days is amazing.
I think I've got about 10 years to go, I have arrangements so am not stressing over them. If I had one that was small and could be cleared thats what I'd do.
Take care and catch up soon, x0 -
Ah just watched a very sad film " life is beautiful" about the war uts a sickner think i may have to shed a sad tear
.... You are right re the card i suppose its one less to pay i shall see what pay day brings eh

Don’t feel sad, if you can spare £600 whilst still affording a few treats and luxuries then that’s amazing, if it means a bare bones lifestyle then maybe think about reducing the overpayment and enjoying the next few years some.
I know I’ve gone off the rails recently, probably because although I wasn’t living on a bare bones budget neither was there a lot of wriggle room either. Tip I’ve picked up from Giligansyles thread is to over budget - but still aim to spend original budget. Then if you go over (as we all do at times) it’s accounted for and no need to feel guilty, if you go under then you have some lovely spare cash to either use for treats or wing towards debt (or bit of both) with all the resulting feel good factors associated. Seems like a win win situation to me, just wish I’d come across it a year ago

Haha its bare bonesish but while im focused i can do a few months bare bones and then if need be relax i may aswell take the opportunity
keebs keep going i really want some big changes and they can only be achieved if i get rid of some of the debts
I can not face any longer than necessary doing the debt journey :P xx
