( i think that's a little O.T.T, everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and wishing ill on others isn't really what these forums are about!)
... and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should ...

I agree...but I also thought the poster who was clapping for joy was a little insensitive too.....but just my opinion ;)

I was clapping at the thought of more £9 rooms.

It always amazes me that when they have the £9 sale there is so many complications and postings over what should be a straight forward task.
    ie: booking a room.

Is it ALL travelodge`s fault or are people getting carried away with the chance of a £9 room and making an a*se of it?

Yes I understood you were clapping at that. I am happy you see it as an opportunity.

Great opportunity for getting a cheap break up and down the country in these "hard times".
Last week I was in Chester central for 4 nights at a total cost of £36.
Keep the £9 room sale coming and for those who don`t want it
    GOOD.

I don't want it, so please help yourself. I hope your opinion does not change if you suffer the ring-fenced funds others have suffered.

It is a shame that in these 'hard times' TL's systems are making it harder for some of their potential and actual customers.

This is the third TL £9 sale this year and every one has produced hundreds of postings about them.
    The vast overwhelming good.
The next £9 sale will cover from the 1st Dec,probably to the end of Feb next year.
No doubt there will be just as many postings next time over the "booking of a room".
But none from you, as you wont be taking part.

Not always, no. You could say I'm a bit of a TL veteran, but have still encountered the dreaded ring fencing/card declined. I read on here that TL site doesn't like Solo, yet I'm assured by TL CS that is not the case. Still ring fenced on that card though. Also, the mobile site isn't set up for Amex, despite indicating that it is. There is space only for 3 digits, not 4.

TL has issues with its site and should take heed.

Still fab bargains and I for one have had good breaks on the strength of that. But that doesn't mean they can dip into my account for a week;)

You are very astute indeed and have read my posts very carefully. I really don't think there is anything wrong with me pointing out the failings in TL's systems and I sincerely hope they sort them for next time, but you are entirely correct, I will never stay with them again. So feel free to bag many more bargains. Your contribution to the thread has been very useful.
