I wonder if Ted is going to join the BPA then apply for AOS membership otherwise his £150 tickets can easily be ignored.
Except of course the people who believe they are payable and pay up, but I think at £150 people are going to do some research before paying. Certainly hope so.
It would be nice to think the residents of Howarth will get their own back on these parasites and inform visitors to ignore the tickets.
Torontoboy45 maybe you could print some posters off and give them to some local shops!0 -
At least he would be entitled to issue a ticket, unlike the majority of ppc's.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Lets not forget the role of his defence team in this case who made significant mistakes or the fact that Liszko actually confessed to the murder. Or that Kiszko's own solicitor thought he was guilty too.
And do you have any evidence of corruption in West Yorkshire Police in the last 40 or so years or are just adopting the Lincolnshire Yokel tactic of spouting garbage loud enough and often enough that eventually someone will believe it, even if you have nothing to substantiate your claims?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

while I'm tempted by the poster thing people with a history of beating their own fathers to a pulp with shovels and using their own kids to 'block'may not take kindly to local shops alerting drivers.
the inertia of police, local gov,OFT and local businesses/people for all these yrs is bewildering.
will we have to wait until evans actually dies - a la jimmy saville - before people come forward?
I doubt if uncle ted has grasped the complexities of techie innovations such as the internet, but I'm sure one of his ferals has and I bet this thread is something they watch daily.
so:
you don't know me
you don't know my vehicle
you don't know what date I'll be arriving (and it won't be in half-term now) or at what time
you don't know how many people I'm bringing.
with my username I could be ex-pat canadian or I could be english. you don't know.
all you know is that I'm male, 50 and married, with a disorder that compels me to hang around car parks.
I might find absolutely nothing to comment on. or I might find something.
mind how you go.0 -

or the same WYP, whose lack of diligence and good 'coppering' abilities allowed sutcliffe to slip the net more than once?
'corruption' is too strong a word. I'll settle for 'incompetence' and 'indolence' (which might - just might - go some way in explaining how evans has been 'getting' away with it for so long).
if you've got any thoughts on the parking industry, be sure to let us know.0 -

Ever heard of "human error"? It's something that afflicts all human beings, regardless of what they may claim. But you come across as thinking it can be eradicated in certain professions, which it can't, and that includes within the police service. Mistakes will always be made and will continue to be made, regardless of how much training is given. You have no doubt made plenty of mistakes in your lifetime, in your personal and your professional life, so don't spout the usual nonsense.trorontoboy45 wrote:'corruption' is too strong a word. Perhaps the reason Evans has been "getting away with it" for so long is because he hasn't broken any criminal law. But that just won't do for the conspiracy theorists who spread the word that there has to be collusion with the authorities and that is the reason he has been able to do it.torontoboy45 wrote:if you've got any thoughts on the parking industry, be sure to let us know.
Perhaps you should be following your own advice on this one, as you have happily taken this thread off topic and continue to do so. Me? I have my thoughts and have the posts on here to prove it.
And finally:-torontoboy45 wrote:I'm tempted to join in on the WY police slagfest, but I won't.
I guess you lied about that one."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

What?
I take it that you have not read all the threads about evans antics then have you?0 -
nerve touched. nose out of joint. hackles raised.
let's leave this thread and go over to the moneysaving arms, where I'll address your points and you can tell me which constabulary you belong to.0 -
I may be in Haworth early next week so I will be getting a ticket if the opportunity arisesFor everthing else there's mastercard.

My goodness me... evidence ...for a start the likes of Evans here ! how many years has he been operating with his sons and never been touched.
The Birmingham 6 ... framed
Stefan Kiszco ..... framed ... he may have confessed yes but a mentally ill and with what is now called "learning difficulties" it would have been the same as getting a 7 year old child to confess and all the time they knew he wasn't guilty anyway.
It was a question of making the Police look good at crime solving (when in reality they couldn't).. in the same way and reasons as they framed the Birmingham 6.
Hillsborough .... the West midlands Police were supposed to investigate the role of the south yorkshire police ... however a quote from Clare Short MP reveals something pretty interesting just before Hillsborough. In January 1989, some three months before the Hillsborough Disaster, , Clare Short MP was calling in the House of Commons for an inquiry into the alleged malpractices of the West Midlands Police. She stated:No solicitor in Birmingham would say anything other than that the [West Midlands Police] serious crime squad is fundamentally dishonest. The men in the squad decide who are guilty and frame them.
Police are more corrupt than you think! yet how often do they get brought to justice?0
