Report on 5 Live Drive last night said he was now issuing £150 parking tickets!
less than 48hrs in! why am I lying here -legs akimbo in my grundies - in disbelief? not..
no report of barriers? no spawn-of-the-devil thugs putting their kids in front of vehicles?

more info needed (obviously) but if all ted can do is issue £150 'tickets' it seems he isn't looking too hot on the creative side of stuff.

    early days, my friends.

ps. with almost spooky timing (last w/end) my OH mentioned calling by the bronte museum in half-term. bring it on.

I feel another song coming on: 'should I stay or should I go now?'

    let me know, ted.

Ooooh, you absolutely must get one of these tickets. 'T'would be good to know if he's misrepresenting authority or offering some other grounds to report him.

yes get a ticket, then tell him you are going to put it where the sun dont shine!

i wonder how many people will just pay these , (bet he will say to them, pay it now then you can appeal it or take it to court!)
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

Depends if one of his thugs passes the ticket over with one hand while holding a baseball bat in the other. He'll still want the money, leopards don't change etc etc

for a semi-literate like me the brontes don't hold much interest. I only ever managed one book (heathcliff? what was his problem? 'kathy this, kathy that').

so I'll let mrs. toronto off to the museum (and being tighter than a gnat's chuff in a force 10 I get to save on the admission fee) while I carry out a detailed and forensic examination of ted's new business model.

won't be for a while yet, though. I've got to polish the old camera lens. meanwhile, it would be useful if someone else called by, then reported back.
I'm keen to see how 'Old Scrotum, the Wrinkled Retainer' tries to shore up his income from this barely-legal little enterprise.
  • See "big dollop" blog for March 2012. All about Ted perverting the course of justice. Ted Evans' boys were "looked after" in several other criminal cases at that time. Ted Evans' best friend was the district prosecutor, a man called Hodgson. One of his boys was only bound over to keep the peace after thumping an elderley coach driver in the face. This was all taken care of behind closed doors at crown court. 7 elderly witnesses had travelled from Newcastle to Leeds to give evidence too. Unprecedented I believe. A lengthy report about several mysterious case interferences involving the Evans boys has been read by me. For legal reasons the report is being held from the press, for now.

thanks for the heads-up (although much of the evidence appears circumstantial).

it appears (and I've got to be careful what I say here) that evans and his pondscum offspring have been operating a criminal enterprise with the collusion of the local police for yrs.

this is where the scope of questioning re PPC's becomes much larger; we all know about the often-illegal behaviour of some clamping firms and the dodgy tactics of others, but what of evans? what of the inertia of the local constabulary? what of OFT? local MP? where are you guys? surely you've rec'd a shedload of complaints? does evans know where all the bodies are buried? does this explain your timidity?

I don't do conspiracy theories but there's something not right with what I keep reading about uncle ted; it doesn't stack up.

the clamping ban is in. it's game over. I turned 50 a few months ago, old enough not to be surprised by low-life, money scamming schemers, yet still mildly shocked at how ted has been left unmolested by local authority/law enforcement agencies for so many yrs.

    something stinks.

    Agreed something stinks..

The west Yorkshire Police force was full of corruption (allegedly) in the 70s 80s 90s and perhaps today.

Stefan Kiszko was ruthlessly set up and framed and the Yorkshire ripper was ignored maybe Ted Evans has something on them or someone senior to keep his rip offs insured.

Wheel clampers, and thuggish debt collectors, bailiffs are of the Levi Bellfield ilk who murdered Milly Dowler and I can see many similarities between Evans and Bellfield.

Mind you here is a more amusing story of a wheel clamper who clamped acouple of unmarked Police cars

I'm tempted to join in on the WY police slagfest, but I won't.

IMO, right about evans, though; I'm seriously considering parking up in changegate, tuning the radio to 'you and yours' (R4, because I'm now 50 - officially old b***ard) and clocking ted's/ mates' activities for a while. I need a doctor who specialises in OCD diagnoses; I know I do, because - suddenly - I'm 50, and spend too much time here

    but...

ted is older and much greedier. he shares the gene common to PPC f***wits. I might have hit the half-century but I'm with the 99% of the UK population in trying to to be honest and upfront.

    yes, ted; you're a 1%er.

    p.s. couponmad: I need a hug.
