Marshallka
I have just been reading your posts and I am sorry to hear of your situation.
I really hope that you can get your money back and you can get back on your feet.
These are the kind of stories that the authorities should be listening to and do something to speed up our claims so we can pay our debts and get back on track.
I wish you the best of luck with your claim and hope things work out for you:A0 -

Thanks for that showergirl. I hate moaning cause I know there are far worse off than us.:o
I must admit its all a "chance" of keeping this property. I like chances though and if we actually had one I would be so grateful and things would be different. At the moment, must admit I am giving up a bit.
We should never have had the loan we had and should not have secured it. FP paperwork have a terraced house (we google earthed it) as a wage address for my hubby in their systems and it was not US that put that down. We gave all the correct details on the application and I somehow think that maybe things were fiddled but have no way of proving this. I think they falsified the wages (again we gave P60's and wage slips for both of us) and they did had a huge different amount which they have blocked the phone call out when I queried this some years ago. I think I may go for the whole agreement back now lol.0 -

You are not moaning just stating your situation.
Like you say there are lots of people in the same boat, but if the FOS etc could read some of these stories maybe it would speed things up. It is ok them saying that it will take months to sort through our cases, but do they know of the stress this is causing to so many people.
And it does not help when the finance companies drag their feet, fobbing us off with letters hoping that we will go away.
We do not deny our debts and our willing to pay them. All we want is to be repaid money that has been denied us through their mis-selling.
Di sorry to hear about your dad's fall, hope is is ok and wish you luck in your meeting on Monday0 -

marshallka wrote: »I know that when you get your PPI back you should be grateful etc... but when you look at the other damage some companies have caused its a bit more than just a little PPI they owe. My loan was applied over 120 months and the one we got was over 160 months cause of PPI added. It seems our disposable income was not enough and they upped the length of the loan by adding PPI. How do they get away with it.
I know one thing is I have learned a lot through my own and others experiences on this forum and now it is a case of if we can't afford it we don't buy it. Or if we do ever need another loan again we will sure read the small print.0 -
Hi Di sorry your dad had a fall, hope the swelling goes down soon. He will probably be quite up and down at the moment it is always the same when they mess about with meds.
x
Cheers Max.;)
Yes they are trying him with up to 4 different lots at the moment, mainly for when he gets agitated, he has been on Exelon for dementia for a while now as welll, it's not surprising that on top of all the other meds, he has about 4 pages of repeats....., so on top of them again.
He will soon settle again.
Hope your pup is okay.:AXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
marshallka wrote: »So you still have a few to do then DI. This is my last one now that is with FOS and then I am done and dusted. You need to get on with your others then Di. I am sure they would ease everything for you like lots on here. I know we are slowly creeping up the debts again but I just want this small win and then back on track. Like I say, they can use the money to repay my debts and then we can afford the mortgage. I just wish we had not consolidated everything into the mortgage now as you don't lose you house with unsecured debts. I know the FP loan was then remortgaged onto the now HUGE mortgage but it was because of consolidating that we are actually in this mess now. I think we would have been better off by just repaying them slowly what we could afford. Still its done now and there is nothing we can do. If we lose the house or have to sell it then we have to. Its just so maddening though.
Glad your dad is being sorted now (meeting monday!!). It must be a huge relief. This is where having a big family comes in isn't it. You can each share the load and have time out too.
Hi Marshallka, cheers, yes it is a huge relief, thank goodness, it was 5 weeks yesterday that he was admitted to hospital and glad that everything is now getting sorted out, having a big family does help.
Your right I do need to get on with these others, I have all the paperwork out again and been going through it all.
I hope things work out for you Marshallka, its very worrying isn't it?
Hope the FOS moves things on quicker for you here as well, the quicker the better I say.
Every penny helps doesn't it?
My Twopart is approx over £800 as you know but even that would be a godsend.
Good luck with this Marshallka.;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Showergirl and thank you.;)
Can't wait for Monday to come and sort this package out, I said to my hubby perhaps we should do a family party for when he does come home, if all the family chip in as well, I'm sure my dad will like that.
Nothing too huge though as he may not cope with that, but with just the family sort of thing.
My mother funny enough the other day was saying something about having their marriage blessed, renewing their vows, not really sure if dad would understand this now though, but next April will be their 50th Wedding Anniversary.;) Hope your okay as well Showergirl.XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I didn't realise your dad had been in hospital that long. I am pleased that things seem to be getting sorted for you.
You must be worn out with all the stress, I wish I could put you in my suitcase so you could come to Turkey with me and have a well deserved rest:A
Take care0 -
