  • Hi everyone,

Have just been reading your posts.

Dialysis it is disgusting that your son has to pay to do this course.
The government keep telling us they will help young people to train for work and yet do nothing.

I know how you feel about trying to help your child.
As you know my daughter is at uni. But all she receives is just over £4000 per year her rent is £2700 per year so that leaves her £1300 to live on. Luckily with both of us working we are able to help but there are some months when we really struggle.

All our savings have nearly gone but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

I hope things work out for your son.

It is really hard for the young ones today they really do get a hard press

The time to worry is when a pair of your unwashed knickers go missing for a while and then reappear when you have someone round to dinner.:rotfl:

Hi Showergirl I feel so sorry for him and so guilty that I cant fund it for him it is so wrong that he has to pay for it. I have also found out that he cant get help from anywhaere because it is a further education course and not higher, I dont know what the difference is but education is eduaction isnt it? My daughter is going to uni next year so we will have the sam e problem then, she will get a student loan but then they are geting debt before they even graduate. This countries policies are crap. Sorry it annoys the hell out of me when we have paid for everything throughout our lives and my son cannot get funding for his course but if he had commited a crime he'd get it paid.
