    Hi Marshallka

Yes I agree with what you are saying here. We put 40,000 consolidation on the mortgage which is obviously secure. !!! I am getting debts paid off every time I am going to renew the mortgage deal I am going to whittle away at the extra 40,000 by taking out smaller unsecured loans. Well eventually anyway got a year to go yet and most of them apart from the mortgage, fingers crossed and with the wind in the right direction, should be settled.

How do you mean about whittle away the extra £40K by taking out small unsecured loans?? Do you mean paying lump sums off the mortgage using other unsecured credit:confused:?? If we had £20K unsecured debts then at least we would have a better chance of keeping this property as there is so much help for unsecured debts and not so much for secured. Although there are the bailiffs if you do not keep up repayments but from reading on here there are companies that help you out. I was looking at IVA's last night. Seems you are stuck for credit for 5 years or more but at least you keep your home and then there is a debt plan whereby you pay a small amount each month and it keeps the wolf away from the door. Again this is all for "Unsecured" debts. What a bummer for putting everything on our mortgage and been allowed to borrow more than your home is worth. Can't wait for the time when 125% loans are in the firing line. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED. IRRESPONSIBLE LENDING. We need a "super complaint".

We don't fit in the fast track cause our debts are secured. We still pay the mortgage so have no "arrears" as such cause we pay interest only (but the capital is not reducing and we will have trouble finding another lender once this deal ends) but with FOS its all red tape and lots in the same boat as us.

Thanks for that showergirl. I hate moaning cause I know there are far worse off than us.:o

I must admit its all a "chance" of keeping this property. I like chances though and if we actually had one I would be so grateful and things would be different. At the moment, must admit I am giving up a bit.

We should never have had the loan we had and should not have secured it. FP paperwork have a terraced house (we google earthed it) as a wage address for my hubby in their systems and it was not US that put that down. We gave all the correct details on the application and I somehow think that maybe things were fiddled but have no way of proving this. I think they falsified the wages (again we gave P60's and wage slips for both of us) and they did had a huge different amount which they have blocked the phone call out when I queried this some years ago. I think I may go for the whole agreement back now lol.
Hi Marshallka I know how you feel hun we have an interest only mortgage and our fixed is due to finish next year. We have no chance of getting another mortgage due to our arrears, so we have the propect of not having enough to pay it off:confused: Our secured loan with Picture is a 125% one but when I added the PPI on it works out over the 125% they lent us. I have questioned the validty of the loan because of this and also the house was only valued on a drive by, how can they do that and get away with it? It is very worrying for you hun and I dont know what to suggest but I am thinking of you.:D

Di I am sorry your Dad had a fall and hope he is ok hun

    Hi Di
Hope your well and thank you.:A;)

I will be seeing dad over the weekend now, one of my sisters and niece and mum are there with him now, so I will know more of how he is later, I was told this morning that he was resting, when another one of my sisters rang the ward.

Can't wait for the meeting Monday to see what they can offer, fingers crossed.;)XXX

Di I dont know if you have read the recent posts on your newly invented thread Picture PPI:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but beaniebabe suggested a petition to the Sun about what we are all going through. What do you think hun and have you any ideas how to start. I think it would be a good idea to put a letter with it explaining what has happened to us and the consequences of the delay, now wether we all just sign the letter or put a petition seperate, what do you think. I have some ideas about the letter and I am sure all of us can do it togther.

    Hi Di

Have been on the thread but not had the chance to read through properly yet, but yes a great idea.

I would click on that link of Pinknico's, of what amersall had done in the other petition and this petition should take you into the details of how to apply for a petition.

A letter would be good as well.
Maybe do the both write and a petition would be a good idea.:T
If everyone chips in to make sure everything is covered that would be cool.;)XXX
