    Hi amersall and thank you.:A
Yes maybe now they will keep a closer eye on him, shame they short staffed really.
It have been a weird weekend your right there lol, I was proud as punch when mum told me that he was writing down numbers and his name last night, mum said he just suddenly picked up a book and a felt tip pen, then just got on with it, I was ever so happy to hear this, it would be good if they found something that finally agrees with him and calms him down the same time.;)

Hope you've had a good weekend hun XXXX;)

Just had great news which have brightened my night up.......:T:T, mum said before she came from there, dad was really calm, and not so long before that they came round and gave dad this new sort of pill, she feels this helped him, then she said she was told they are trying him out on new meds and hoping they will help him, I do hope so.

Normally he has 23 items on his repeat prescriptions......, that would do my head in as well.
He was on Exelon 4.5mg as well this was without the prescription and done separately, last year he was on 3.00MG, it goes up to 6.5mg if I remember, this would be the next one to the one he is on now.

Mum said he sat there, grabbed a book from his draw, wrote his own name, and written the numbers from one to ten......:T:T, he have not done that in well over a year, sooooooo pleased.:j:j:j
Hi Di so pleased your dad is doing well it must be a great relief for you and your family I am really really glad for you hun:T:T:T;)

    Chuffed to bits.

Hubby just left to drop off mum now to the hospital, I'm waiting for a few return phone calls, from the local dementia hospital up the road, actually the manager of SS is based up there and she is calling me either today or tomorrow, with a bit of luck, because first of all this morning the hospital where dad still is now, said about this hospital over 25 miles away......., we need him local really and of course his main Dr for dementia is based in that local hospital, so it would be best for him to be there, when I rang them earlier they agreed and hoping to sort something out ASAP, fingers crossed.;)XXXX

    Yes it's a great start......:T.
Dad's doctor is based in the local hospital not far from me, in fact just up the road, I could actually walk it on a good day, just follow the canal, and of course he also has an appointment with this doctor a week Friday as well, so it would be a lot easier all round I think.;) XXX
