That's so sad, to put your trust in someone for them to do the dirty. I guess it has made you really wary of putting your trust in anybody else.
But there are some genuine people out there, thankfully, not all of them leeches:mad:
I am glad you are ok now. Some lessons are learnt the hard way as many of us on this hread know.
WHEN I found out the mess they were in I was sick. Another month or two and they could have been in the same position with losing the house. I am just so thankful we managed to sort it between us. They have learnt a hard lesson (they were on the brink and I really feared for their health).
Hopefully if this comes out in there favour, they will be a step closer to sorting out their finances which will become more manageable:eek:
    xx
    Thanks busbyh,

    x;)

An update on dad, I will be seeing him tomorrow, today my neice, sister in law went with mum, he thought he was coming home, he was confused again unfortunately, but made it difficult for mum to leave, it's so heartbreaking, hope this transfer will happen very soon, so they can assess for what help he requires for when he does come home, if they think they can do this or it may be a nursing home.

It is basically out of our hands now, but if anyone knows how Social services deals with these issues these days, I will be happy to hear.

Over the years I expect they have improved with their services.

It will be difficult for your mum to cope alone Di as you must know and I would think SS will access him and then leave it with you. If they think he may be a danger to himself then it may be best for a home but it must be a horrible decision to make as you remember him and your family will as he was. We nursed my dad at home with cancer but dementia can be for so long and draining to any one person. I hope you get the help in making this decision that you all will need.

Thanks Marshallka:A, yes your right......and have to think of mum as well.
I think though once he is in that right hospital he may settle down better, as the staff for this are well trained for this sort of thing, and it's only up the road from me, so not that far either.
I suppose the assessment will take some time as well, as they have to make sure what help and care he requires and so....

That must have been very hard for you as well Marshallka and very sad as well...., so sorry to hear that. X

We will get there, am trying to blank it out and get on with other stuff as well, but having constant phone calls, but I'm sure the right decision will be made in the end.;)XX

Going to see dad shortly, the hospital put dad on the phone to mum earlier, he was asking for her, she told him she will be down as soon as she can, it is getting very tiring for her, and I did tell her to have a rest today, as I can still go, but she won't have it.

Have some nice goodies for him, mainly fruit which he loves, and i heard that he had been doing some colouring over the last few days as well, bless him, one of them is a goldfish, he coloured it in well.:T

Can't wait to see him, shall let you know how he is later on.;)XXXX
