Not been but would perhaps give it go sometime maybe. It used to be where if you had been to Cyprus you could not use the same passport to go to Turkey I think cause of their troubles between them and I was toing and froing from there.


I think that again can be the same everywhere with dodgy goods. Even the super markets here can carry dodgy items. There was some toothpaste called a couple of years ago that contained something dodgy so obviously got through from the dodgy market.

I know spain is supposed to be cheap for leather but I don't think so since the euro.

Was so pleased this time I got through the scanners without them bleaping and a full body search by some butch lady. I just hate airports. I need sedation in them.

Did you find Spain cheap. Some people are saying because of the euro that the prices have really gone up

No, it was quite expensive since the euro. Tobacco has gone up loads even cause they are being asked by the EU to help in the fight against smokers. Leather goods were expensive and I don't really buy anything anyway. Food and drink - well that depends where you go. I only ever drink water or lager when I am away and of course coffee.

Sorry I disappeared but been helping my neighbour tie her hair up. She has broken both her elbows. She fell in Sainsbury's car park.

The reason why I was asking about the prices is I fancy going back to Minorca next year and there are not many all inclusive hols there

I think Minorca is expensive to book all inclusive. Would love to go though. I feel ready for another holiday now I have done the ironing:eek:. There are so many places to visit aren't there.

I am feeling tons better today hubby and I have been out on our motorcycle, I know what you are thinking she is a biker chick, damn right I am I love it, we go to motorcycle races and the men in leather look great lol but usually they are around 70 lol. we live on north east coast and set off to go to whitby, got half way there and it went as black as night you wont believe the size of the hail stones. It rained snowed, hailed, thunder and lightning. We had to stop at a cafe while it stopped. Came home in pouring rain, wet bum job again, and when we got back no rain or anything where we live. Anyway biking is a great stress reliver when its not raining, and now I feel good. Hope you are all well Glad you had a good holiday Marshallka

Wow, a biker chick then dialysis. I heard you say about a bike before but did not realise you go out on it. Glad it has destressed you a little. Shame about the weather though. Its been the same here. Sunshine then hail. We have just emptied our pool. Its only a small 10ft one and I don't think I will even bother filling it next year. Its such a shame we don't have the weather and it never seems to be a day without rain even if it is sunny to start with. Certainly not the barbeque summer we were led to believe.

Minorca is fantastic. I have been twice and I love the place. But like you say it is expensive to book all inclusive as not many places do it.

Would love to go back though.

Thank you hun I dont know waht I would do without all of you on here. I forgot to mention on my last post that my daughter got her A level results yesterday and she got merits and distinction for her health and social, a pss for her general studies and key skills and although she failed her english she has got all the points she needs for uni next year she wants to be a social worker so thats good really proud of her;)
