Thank you Showergirl:A, I'm sure it will in the end, it just takes some time, it will be horrible to unsettle him again, I miss him so much, I know we can see him anytime but its not the same like in your own home as such as it?XXX

Hi Di cheers hun yeah I am really proud of her she always wanted to be an english teacher and got really good marks at GSCE level but since doing her A levels she has not got on well with her teacher and her studies have suffered but she has always enjoyed health and scial immensly so I think that is her vocation now. She has recivied distinctions for this so thats the right way to go. Hope you are well and your dad is doing good;)

Thanks you all for your lovely words.:A

I'm sure they can provide community carers that cater for dementia needs, I thought dad was doing well yesterday myself, I know he is going to get his days.

The problem is I think mum feels tied, even though we all try to muck in and help when we can, its his wandering she worries about, I told her just not to leave the key in the door, then she says he will not like that, but he loves his home and his family is his life, he is a miracle, over the last few years we have lost him 3 times and each time they got him back, I feel if he goes into a home, he will detoriate, I don't know what to think anymore and we must think of mum as well.....

Di, don't want to hijack the Picture thread but yes, it was Endeavour before they became Endeavour. They were called something else and they had second charge but they repossessed it. They did not get full wack and chased me for the balance for years. I was working full time when I moved in here and rented before I met my now hubby and they sent a solicitors letter. I just got back in touch and told them to p off as I had nothing and they agreed to drop the case and I still have the letter now saying the account was closed and that i owed them nothing. They were never off my back for years. It was only cause of PPI and extortionate credit that they got away with it. Its too late though for me now to claim on that one. It was 1992 or even 1991 they did it and it was not a nice experience. They would not accept any reduced payments. Its history though to me now.

Blimey that is shocking, and such a damn shame you cannot reclaim on it, how annoying that is !!!!!!
Sorry to hear of this though, it must have been difficult.

I will delete my post on the other thread in a min X

Their solicitors had no mercy. They just said i owed them money, gave me a slip for the council and away I went. I was living life in a daze. It was not even me that had the money from the loan. I actually stupidily loaned it to someone and they ran off to another country and left me with the debt. We had police involved and I had a solicitor to get the money back but this person told my solicitor that he would just go bankrupt. I then got a CCJ against him and he did go bankrupt. I got ripped off for £16K. It was my own fault though cause I had a choice and put my trust into someone that knew exactly what he was after.

End of my sob story. It was just a chapter of my life that was really bad.
