    afternoon everyone,
Hope you are all well and enjoying the weather. I'm refusing to do any washing that needs ironing until I get to grips with the mountain that's already waiting to be done. Why can't someone invent a robot iron, one that also puts it all away in it's proper place?
Di, I hope it doesn't affect your dad too much. I know I'm being picky and that they do a wonderful job but I don't know why they are telling you that they are finding your Dad difficult, that must make you all worry more. You are all dealing with enough and they should just get on with it. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.
Shamrock, I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss also. My best wishes for the future for all concerned. Tickles and cwches for the little one.

Thanks for that Karen. My niece was up tonight playing with my two without a care in the world. She is gorgeous,

Hope you're all ok today and enjoying the sunshine. I'm having one of those days when I'm trying to get things done but not having much joy. It could be because I don't want to do it in the first place and if I have enough time I will think out who I can blame so that my halo stays nice n shiny!!!!!!!!!! (All hints and suggestions welcome, lol)

    Hi Karen and everyone else.;)

It is such a beautiful day today isn't it?
    Warm as well.:T

Have a line full of washing on the line, all drying lovely.
Other than that not doing much else really and can't think of any suggestions Karen lmao :D:rotfl::Dsorry.;)

Was going down the hospital but my sister booked time from work today to go with mum and my brother and his other half will be going later, we are trying to space it out as there are loads of us which helps.

The hospital are saying now they may keep him there until Autumn, until something more permanent has been arranged, we are still waiting for dad's key worker to arrange this meeting.

Hope all are well and hope you all have lovely weather.:A

    Hi Di,
At least it looks like your Dad isn't going to go from pillar to post until they it is all sorted, poor thing wouldn't know what to make of it. It might be a good idea for all of you (family) to discuss and research what you want and need for Dad before the meeting. At least you will present a united front and know what alternatives are available to you.

    Hi Karen and thanks.:A

Yes you do have a point, although they are moving him from one ward to another every night at the moment.....:o, think they are sharing the work with him, but it is understandable as they do have many other patients to deal with as well.;)

Yes and your right there as well, we have been having meetings, some of the family live away but we did try to get all of us together the other day and discuss some possible options, its just a matter if waiting for his key worker to get back now.

However, the good news is that he is looking better and eating well.:T:T
That keeps us happy, we are looking forward now.;)

    Hi everyone

    Hope you are all well.

Di glad to hear your dad is a lot better and I hope you get things sorted with his key worker.

Haven't been on much lately but on Saturday I hurt my back at work. I thought I had pulled a muscle and I have been in agony. It has been a case of either lying down or standing but no way was I able to sit so haven't been able to spend time with you guy's.

This morning when I got up I could not stand without being in pain and ended up on the floor on all fours.

We rang the doctor and he has given me a pain killing injection and some pain killers to take and I have to go to see him in 7 days.

The injection worked and I have spent most of the day asleep, Mind you I needed it as I haven't been able to sleep because of the pain.

I am still not comfy and have pillows to support me but at least I can sit a while, even going to the loo was painful.

I know I wanted some time off work, but not like this
