hi all,
Dialysis, I really, really hope that everything works out and that you can keep your home. I must admit when I received Martin's newsletter you were the first person I thought of when I saw that they were introducing a new section regarding how to pick up a repossessed house on the cheap. I haven't read it and don't want to. I know this is a money saving site but with so many people on here that are in financial difficulties it seems a bit inappropriate and leaves a bad taste. Rant officially over!!!!!
Hope everyone is doing well and feeling ok and all hurts are on the mend if not gone altogether.
It's drizzling here off and on today so at least I'm not adding to my ironing mountain.
How is your Dad now Di, any improvement?
My son has gone to Blackpool today for the weekend to watch Cardiff play football, so that's one less to see to. Between hubby, son and grandkids I end up cooking 3 different meals and I just have what I fancy out of the options, lol. One day I'm going to have something that I really want and they'll all have to have the same.......................did you just see the flying pigs?
Karen x
Hiya Karen, :A;)
Hope your well.
Weather not as good as yesterday is it?
Although just pegged out some washing, it has 2 choices lol.
Dad getting better by the day thank you.;)
Apart from his wandering he is good otherwise, discharge arrangements are in place but it could be a few days yet as the OT and Social worker have to arrange continuing care for both day and night as mum cannot cope, although we will continue to do what we can as well, so fingers crossed.
Wow your son will have a good time then, cool.
Hope the weather brightens up as well for him.
I love Blackpool, not been there in years.
I don't blame you Karen.......so you should have something you really want.:D;)
Flying pigs nope not seen them???:p

Dad doing okay so far, just waiting for them to get this care package sorted out for him now, in readiness for discharge.
Not seen Marshallka on here for a few days, hope she is ok, unless they gone away for a few days maybe.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

An update on dad.
Although he seems to have recovered pretty well, his confusion due to dementia have progressed, but still waiting for an assessment in order for him to be transferred to the other hospital who he is under a consultant who he is under, we know this can take some time.
However, tomorrow (Monday) he is to now have further tests as they suspect MS, on top of many other health problems he has, no wonder he is so more confused.......
Still at least though he is in the right place to get these tests done with, but I am aware as well, it's basically on symptoms and not actual scans etc they go on.
On another note, my nephew have recovered well since the Swine flu
Hope everyone are well.:AXXXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Good morning and thanks Pinknico and Amersall.:A:A
Hope your well and everyone else.;)
I think it's best they get all the tests all out of the way for dad, and while he is still in the same hospital waiting to be transferred, get them done out of the way, they can rule things out.
He was rather jolly yesterday though, so that was the main thing.;)
Has everyone got the nice weather today?
A little brighter here today in Wales, taking time for the blue sky to break through though, as long as it stays dry then I'm happy.:D XXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
