Haven't been on much lately but on Saturday I hurt my back at work. I thought I had pulled a muscle and I have been in agony. It has been a case of either lying down or standing but no way was I able to sit so haven't been able to spend time with you guy's.

This morning when I got up I could not stand without being in pain and ended up on the floor on all fours.

We rang the doctor and he has given me a pain killing injection and some pain killers to take and I have to go to see him in 7 days.

The injection worked and I have spent most of the day asleep, Mind you I needed it as I haven't been able to sleep because of the pain.

I am still not comfy and have pillows to support me but at least I can sit a while, even going to the loo was painful.

I know I wanted some time off work, but not like this

Oh Showergirl, so sorry to hear of your accident, I do hope your okay.
I wish you a speedy recovery and remember to rest up as well, its about time you did have a rest, shame it's in these circumstances, but get well real soon, take care.;)

So sorry you have hurt your back. It can be really painful I know especially when it goes into spasm.

It took me 20 mins to get out of the bedroom this morning.

Hubby brought me some painkillers and tried to help me this morning but I told him to just leave me. Poor thing is only trying to help

When I got out of bed which took some time I am bent over like an old woman and holding on to anything to get my balance.

Painkillers seem to be working though

Hi all just a quick hello hope you are all ok still at library back on line next weds thank god missed you all. To catch up we are back home now, couldnt stand it in the council house any longer. We went to see a financial adviser who we know and were advised to go back and fight the repo from there, he has taken over our case for us and is fighting our corner for us. He has varoius options to offer but basically Picture cannot touch us HA HA so we are really happy to be home apart from carpets dont fit or curtains but still am feeling so much better now. Anyway will tell you all the rest on weds when back on line. take care Luv DIxxxx

Dialysis, I really, really hope that everything works out and that you can keep your home. I must admit when I received Martin's newsletter you were the first person I thought of when I saw that they were introducing a new section regarding how to pick up a repossessed house on the cheap. I haven't read it and don't want to. I know this is a money saving site but with so many people on here that are in financial difficulties it seems a bit inappropriate and leaves a bad taste. Rant officially over!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and feeling ok and all hurts are on the mend if not gone altogether.
It's drizzling here off and on today so at least I'm not adding to my ironing mountain.
How is your Dad now Di, any improvement?
My son has gone to Blackpool today for the weekend to watch Cardiff play football, so that's one less to see to. Between hubby, son and grandkids I end up cooking 3 different meals and I just have what I fancy out of the options, lol. One day I'm going to have something that I really want and they'll all have to have the same.......................did you just see the flying pigs?
