This song is dedicated to my dad, who always used to sing this song to us as children, he was so good as well, brings a tear to my eye, but he loved this song::A

    afternoon everyone,
Hope you are all well and enjoying the weather. I'm refusing to do any washing that needs ironing until I get to grips with the mountain that's already waiting to be done. Why can't someone invent a robot iron, one that also puts it all away in it's proper place?
Di, I hope it doesn't affect your dad too much. I know I'm being picky and that they do a wonderful job but I don't know why they are telling you that they are finding your Dad difficult, that must make you all worry more. You are all dealing with enough and they should just get on with it. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.
Shamrock, I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss also. My best wishes for the future for all concerned. Tickles and cwches for the little one.

    Hi Karen and everyone else.
Cheers Karen and your right they do make us worry all the more.
They complained that dad went wandering earlier before we got there, and yet they had plenty of staff in, when we went to see him this afternoon they were not doing a lot and I was busy searching for his inhalers, they have had to order more from the pharmacy.....

Overall dad looking good I thought, we taken him a tub of fruit and he waffed it down bless him, then down went the Oasis fruit drink.;)

He did ask if we had a nice time up the mountain....., so we went along with him and told him it was very hot up there, he was fine.

I agree a robot iron would come in handy and a robotic hoover:D, maybe this will all be invented in time, maybe not in our time though lol :o.

    Hope your all well.
    Di

    Thank you Marshallka.;)

He is getting there and we understand he will never improve on the dementia side of things but even though the staff should be aware of dad's condition on when changing shifts, we are finding that we have to keep reminding them.

Still to see him looking better is good news, thanks.;)XXXX

    Thank you folks.;)

I'm just a little tired now to be honest and am hoping if I'm lucky to have at least more sleep tonight.

The worry does not help and because when dad was in hospital last year, he obsconded :o, there was a big search for him and the neighbour rang my sister to say dad was outside the door in his jim jams......
The hospital is about 5 miles away, and he managed to get a lift from a guy, he told the guy that he was discharged but his bus had gone and could go home in his jim jams.......:o.

What a worry, we were down the hospital at the time to visit and it was only because we asked where he was that they noticed he was missing.

I understand your concern at the NHS Di. I have not got the most faith in them myself. On saying that Di I am sure that he will be Ok and hope you sleep better yourself tonight. I am turning in early myself too. I said to my hubby yesterday I feel unusally tired just lately. Must be my age?:o
