Hi everyone.;)
Cheers Pinknico X
Dad seemed a little more with it tonight, but the staff wanted someone to stay overnight with him, my brother in law offered tonight so that we can try to get some sleep, the nursing staff admitted they could not cope with dad.......
His key worker is supposed to be sorting something out by Monday.
Overall though he looked a lot better last night in colour, still very breathless and getting confused now and again, they did say his condition in regards of dementia have progressed further as well.
He is in good hands though.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Cheers Dialysis.:A;)
Hi everyone.
The nursing staff put dad on the phone to mum today to ask where she is, he told her she was naughty..... and thought she went out night clubbing.....:o, bless him, with his confusion.
Anyway, Social Services wants the family to get together down the hospital, in regards of extra help for dad, it seems that they think that dad should be in a care home, we all do our bit to help, but as his condition has worsened, they think it maybe for the best, so are to attend an appointment at the hospital very soon.
Unfortunately more bad news, my oldest son have learnt that one if his mates he was in school with had died in the blast in Afghan.
His mate was one of those recent 3 in the Jackal blast.

Hi Di,
Hope everything gets sorted out for your Dad as soon as possible. It's always the same, get the blame for enjoying yourself clubbing and there you were fast asleep (or worrying) lol.
I'm sorry to hear about your son's schoolfriend, it's so sad because they have what should be their whole life in front of them. The sacrifice they and their families make, make me feel really proud, grateful and humble at the same time.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the same weather I am, warm and sunny (apart from the clouds).

Hi karen and thank you.:A
Hope your well. X
Mum is down the hospital with him now and my one sister is going down later on with my older niece, so he is never short of any visitors, I should be going back down tomorrow at some point.
I'm sure things will eventually get sorted out in the end for the best.;)
These soldiers are very brave and like yourself give them loads of credit, bless them and yes that is right, they did have a life in front of them, when it comes to someone so young as that it does come home to you doesn't it, when you have kids of your own.
It is a super glorious day, just pegged out my 2nd load of washing and it drying lovely.;)
Not looking forward to all the ironing though lol .
Take care Karen and thank you.
